Rented from the Budget side. The overall experience was pretty bad. When picking up the car, there were none available for the time reserved so I had to wait until someone returned one and it was cleaned. After returning the car, I was overcharged almost $ 300. When calling the location they said they couldn’t look me up in the system, I was given an incorrect 1800 number to call, and the associate gave me the wrong name. After calling the right 1800 number I was told the associate never put the car back in the system so I was charged until the rental was rented by another person… Fixable mistake (that can take a week or so to rectify), but definitely inconvenient.

Avoid This Location!!!
I am a referred Avis customer. I reserved a car on line and when came to pick up my car agent «tried very hard to provide horrible service:
1. Agent did not bother to walk the car with me and make sure I know it and all safety features are there.
2. Car was delivered with less than a ¼ fuel and my record stated full tank. When mentioned the answer I got «it is in the system»
3. Car had a ding. When mentioned «It will be noted in the system»
4. The cherry no registration. When requested from the agent his replies take the car or leave it.
When I complained that this is not a way to treat a customer, and I don’t want to be stopped without registration, he threatened to call the police.
Avis should be ashamed to have employees like the one representing them in Dedham.
I walked out, and drove my own car to the destination!!!
This is the first time I received such service from Avis. AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!
