As a certified science teacher and experienced tutor, I will help students in their homes or at a convenient library to better understand Chemistry, Biology, Algebra, and Geometry.

I also have successfully tutored many students in various standardized tests, including the SAT, MCAS, and the ISEE for entrance to the Boston Exam Schools.

History

Established in 2003.

1−2−1 Tutors started in Roslindale to bring high quality tutoring to a wide variety of students. After 3 successful years in the same location, I was forced by the economic downturn to give up the office and instead tutor in each student’s home.

I will come to your home in Roslindale, West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and Mattapan, as well as the suburbs of Dedham, Norwood, Westwood, Walpole, Canton, Needham, Newton, Stoughton, and Milton.

Business Owner

I am a certified secondary sciences teacher with a degree in Biology. I worked many years in biomedical research at Harvard Medical and Mass. General Hospital, where I daily practiced the art of science. I often taught new researchers, especially medical students, about the scientific process and eventually decided to return to teaching full time.
