Whitewater Express, Inc. is a professional river outfitter with over 30 years experience. We were one of the pioneer outfitters that worked with the Forest Service to develop plans to run the rivers of the Southeast. In 1990 we were selected by the Olympic Committee to oversee all water sports for the 1996 Olympics! It has been our great pleasure to guide over one million people since 1980 and over 1000 youth groups through high adventure each year.

Whitewater Express, Inc. now offers well appointed retreat centers offering paintball, ropes courses, mountain biking, and horseback riding. For overnight guest we offer log cabins with all the amenities or if you prefer you can enjoy a simple bunk house or camp site. Whatever you choice, you are sure to enjoy this amazing mountain retreat!

History

Established in 1980.

Having started as a small river outfitter in 1980 we quickly grew to be one of the country’s leading outfitters with locations in four states. We have been one of the regions outfitters leading the way to create a full adventure center with many high adventure activities and lodging all at one site. Our largest facility sits in the mountains of Tennessee near the Ocoee River. There we offer whitewater rafting, paintball, ropes courses, mountain biking, and horseback riding.

In the 90’s we were part of the Olympic Committee and helped prepare for the 1996 games. We even hosted the Brittish, French, and U.S. teams!
