Not sure how they are still in business. I doubt I will be back. 12:30pm on a Tuesday. Must’ve missed a heck of a lunch rush! They were already taking down the salad bar! There was no brisket, no jalapeño cheese sausage, hot links were tiny and hard, there was no bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, and only one of three sauces available. That’s right… Out of at least 6 items and the salad bar was take down. I noticed 4 different tables had to share 1 roll of paper towels. If I would’ve walked in at 12:45, I would’ve missed everything! This place is clearly mismanaged! Unless they can figure out what’s wrong, I would avoid this place. 1 pitiful star for lack of effort

Needs new management. Out of potatoes? Out of to go containers? Did you really hand that guy a paper plate through the take out window. Update that damn menu board I still don’t understand it.

If you are looking for something upscale this is not you’re spot. Looking for some really good barbecue then this is your spot. Nothing healthy just delicious! I had the chicken breast and they chop it to order in front of you. The meat was very juicy. Sweet potatoes were yummy and the pinto beans were salty but good. Everything made in house which is always a plus. Service was good and they warned us that the tea would taste like dirt(not their fault, city water issue). I will definitely go back.

We have been here 2 times, once being on a Friday night and the most recent on a Saturday about 7pm. The first time, sides were ok, but salad bar looked scary(wilted lettuce, scanty selection of options, etc.) BBQ always was great. Rolls are hot and fresh, very friendly atmosphere. Most recently, sides were scraped from the bottom of the containers, salad bar ingredients were low, but a lot fresher looking. It seems that a rush had just come through and we got the leftovers. When we told the waitress about our sides being lukewarm almost cold, we were given a sad excuse of «it just happens» and on the 2nd time around the waitress offered to heat them up. The meat was great but the employees seemed a little distracted this time and all of the sodas were either out of order or should have been. It was not worth the money we spent this time. Overall, this establishment has great BBQ but the rest of the food and environment left much to be desired and we will be spending money elsewhere next time :-(

Fast food in a sit down place, friendly easy going hometown BBQ. Fresh HOT rolls brought out to the table. Lots of food for a bargain price.

We stopped in because the Unilocal rating was 4 stars. While the meat was good, the sides(corn and macaroni n’ cheese) were cold and the trays, silverware, and plates were dirty. You could see the dirt in the grooves of the tray, and there was food flaking off the side of the plate. No matter how great the food at a restaurant is, if the place is dirty then the food is unappetizing.

I order two pounds of meat, a couple of sides, ask for sauce, pickles and onions. I get NO sauce, 2 pickle spears and 2 rings of sliced onion. Not 2 slices. 2 pieces. Really!!! I know you’ve been exercising tighter portion control lately, but for 2 pounds of meat, no condiments? Ever since you guys added the bar, the restaurant has gone to shit. If you wanna be in the bar business, open a stand alone bar. If you want to be in the BBQ business, get rid of the bar, because you aren’t doing a decent job of trying to both at the same time. I WONTBEBACK. ***UPDATE*** After speaking with the owner, I decided to give them another shot, even though he tried to blame a «new employee» for the last problem. Drove up. Ordered the ribs. Nope. Out of ribs. Drove off. Done. Don’t waste your time here.

I don’t know what happened. We used to come in there constantly and it was great but we noticed it’s been really empty lately. going there after church today I know why. My friend had the salad bar, other friend had a sliced beef sandwich with a side of coleslaw. The server gave him potato salad then argued with me that he ordered potato salad instead of just giving him the dad gum coleslaw. I got the mini chicken asked for beans and green beans and got two pintos and my husband got the two meat plate. He wanted corn is one of his sides and the girl picked one up and said that’s a big one so put it back and got him a smaller one. It didn’t matter because the corn was inedible as was my chicken. All this for $ 40 for me to feed to my livestock. We asked for a manager she said he was cutting the meat and nobody followed up. We won’t be back

The meats are good but VERY pricey. Sides are average to below. Rolls are great but used to be a lot bigger. Standards do seem to be slipping while the prices grow. If you’re in town it’s worth a stop but I wouldn’t go out of the way to find this place.

This was a great find off the highway. The staff here was really friendly and the barbecue was pretty darn good. We had a few different meats, the sausage was probably our favorite. The cole slaw was our next favorite item and the Mac n cheese. It was also pretty nice that they came around with fresh rolls once you sit down and get your food. For those of you passing through, just walk in and there is a line to order meats and sides straight ahead to the right. Get a tray, grab food, choose a drink and then pay there. Sit anywhere and then a waitress comes around with rolls.

Stopped by passing through & ordered a brisket sandwich with baked beans. WONDERFUL! Tender & moist. Yeast rolls were good too. Baked BBQ beans were the best. Highly recommended!

Went this weekend and the food was delicious. I had the turkey, brisket and jalapeño sausage. Best brisket I’ve had since Stan’s in Cleburne,

If you want BBQ, not only is the meat juicy and tender, they have the BEST customer service. Hands down. I heart Sean’s. We arrived during the Texas blizzard– and they waited for us. Loaded us up w meat and sides and rolls/toast. The e’ryone was so awesome even though they really wanted to go home. :0)

Bathrooms were clean but no paper. Rolls were best part. Beef and sausage were good but turkey was some sort of compressed roll — yuck, sauce was ok

Trapped in Decatur with a blown tranny. Decided to try the local fare… Sean makes his own Habanero Mango Sauce that is outstanding! I had it on the pork with potato salad and green beans. Can you say, «YUMMY!?» They bring around freshly baked hot rolls often. The staff are friendly and fun. Doesn’t look like much on the outside but definately stop in. I will if I ever come back to this area I will eat here again!

While traveling back from Florida to Amarillo, a truck had overturned and blocked the entrance to the highway. So, what a better excuse to stop and have a bite to eat. BBQ sounded great and Sean’s was very close so we gave it a try. I had the ribs and sausage with corn on the cob and cole slaw. Outstanding! The ribs were fall off the bone tender. The sausage was seasoned well. This was a gem to find. I love BBQ and I’m very picky about the sauce and flavor of the meat. I could taste the smokey fresh flavor of the meat. It’s definitely a place to stop and enjoy great Texas BBQ. The staff is friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating for larger groups or families.

This is the worst bbq I have ever had… in my life. In fact, it may just be the worst meal I have ever had in my life. I’ve been on a run of good Texas bbq dining experiences lately, so when I saw this place had decent reviews I tested my luck and thought I would give it a try. Massive error in judgment. It’s a dive, which is fine. A lot of good bbq places in small town Texas are. So let’s just focus on the food. It was bad. All bad. I ordered a two meat plate– brisket and ribs. They were out of ribs, it was only 12:00 so I thought that it was odd that they were already out. They were also out of rolls. And baked potatoes. Sean must not do a good job of planning out his days. So my two meat plate turned into brisket and pulled pork. The pulled pork was nearly inedible, so dry and without any flavor. The brisket had slightly better flavor, but equally dry. The potato salad was inedible. The mac and cheese was fine I gues, s but it was cold, so I wasn’t all that interested in eating it. The sauce tasted good, but even that couldn’t cover up how bad the meat was. I know bbq is hard to keep consistent, maybe(hopefully) I caught them on a bad day. But they won’t get another $ 12 out of me in hopes of redemption.
