Open Hand Designs is a cool little storefront that features up a modest selection of reasonably priced, beautifully crafted gift items that support just causes and fair trade. Open 10 – 5.
I picked up a fantastic scarf, cool dish cloth and lovely lavender body butter for around $ 30. They have more on the website than in the store.
Located in the fabulous NDK mall, between the worst post office in DeKalb county and the nearly abandoned Macy’s.
Yes, North DeKalb a sad shadow pretending to be a mall (even with the addition of a brand new Marshalls, it’s still quite pathetic).
I am happy to see some new life up in here.
On a side note, the post office here really is the worst and closes @ 4. Totally worth driving to the Scottdale one on E Ponce to avoid the pain that this location will inflict.
