Not sure why the rating for this place is so low. The food I ordered was VERY good, and the service was really good too. I would rank this place right up there with my other favorite Atlanta Thai place: Thai Chili. The seafood soup was chock full of seafood and had a really good flavor… very spicy. I ordered the Pad See Yew with chicken and shrimp and the flavor was perfect. It was so yummy my mouth is watering just thinking about it. And again, it was full of meat as well. It had way more shrimp than I would have expected. My only criticism was that, unlike the soup, it wasn’t spicy at all, even thought it had that little 1-pepper symbol beside it on the menu. Our server was very nice and courteous too. Overall, I loved this place and it will be my new go-to place for great Thai food. Too bad it’s a little far from where I live(20 miles).

Just received an online order an hour late with no phone call or notification whatsoever. All food room temp, sushi, larb, and egg rolls. Not great.

Good take out. Just the amount of spice we requested.

The ownership in this establishment is rude and disrespectful. He doesn’t know how to talk to or treat women. He thinks his«Thai manners» are what’s acceptable here in America and its not. Take it from me, I used to work there. He is a sexist prick. The servers are great, but the way he treats people makes it a bad restaurant.

I love this place! I order delivery all the time. The green dragon roll is delicious and always taste fresh. The ichiban roll is also really good! Haven’t ordered anything that I have been disappointed with.

I called in a dinner order for Beef Fried Rice that was to be delivered. I was told it would be a 30 – 40 minute wait. I was cool with that, but 2 hours later after 3 phone calls to check on status of it never came and I had to cancel it. They didn’t even bother to offer up and explanation. Never ordering from here again.

Our server, Brian was good. The food was ok, but definitely not the best. The crab angles were not very good. Wouldn’t make a special trip back but would possibly go again.

The portions were a nice size and the food was neither great nor horrible. The service however, was very disappointing. The 18% gratuity that was included on my bill, was a about 8 to 10% too much.

I love this place. It’s consistently good for sushi and hospitality. I adore the Thai potstickers too

This spot is a local gem. Family owned and run, and their food is fantastic. The owner honored an online deal on a takeout order that should only have been for dine-in as an act of good faith. I came back a week later with a friend and had a wonderful meal. Get the curry puffs!

I had take out from this place. I had the Thai garlic chicken. Nothing too unusual. It was good, and I loved the vegetables that it came with. The only thing I wish that was a little different was the chicken. I think it was steamed before, or something like that, but I didn’t LOVE the chicken. Next time I come here, I’ll try another dish on the menu.

I ordered chicken curry from the store and it actually was delivered without curry. I was forced to eat plain chicken and vegetables without any sauce and when calling back I didn’t get an answer. Absolutely terrible food and will not order again.

I came here twice and both times the customer service was horrible. At first the food was okay but not that great. The second time I came to try to the sushi, and that was the worst sushi I ever ate in my life. The rice was dry and the fish was not fresh. I only came because of their convenient hour and the scoutmob deal.

Horrible service for my birthday dinner, she couldn’t get our order right. Had to ask for multiple things twice and we were her only table, so she wasn’t busy. She managed to pour a pitcher of ice water down my back while filling a glass of the person sitting next to me. The food was terrible, some of the worst sushi I’ve ever had other than the pack of California rolls purchased from a grocery store. On top of getting charged full price for everything after all this happened they charged us 18% gratuity so she still walked away with a decent tip for very sub par service. Will never go back.

Okay ordered from here not long ago. Got your typical sushi, fried rice and veg tempura. Guy gets here late first of all. Really flustered too. He tells me the total and I’m like whoa no!!! They charged me $ 20 for my tempura. Didn’t do that last time. I tried to explain this really nicely thinking its a mistake and he says, «I don’t have time, give me tempura back» I’m completely thrown by this so I go to get it and apparently I was taking to long… «It’s in that bag on the bottom come on!!» I was humiliated. I live in an apartment and people obviously hear this guy yelling at me. NEVERAGAIN. That was a terrible experience. You should be ashamed.

Great place to stop in for dinner or early /late night meal. They are open into the wee hours, have been there a few times late and the food and service were still on point. Nice selection of sake and beer. Sushi selection is larger then most places. They have cooked and uncooked. The price on the nigiri is decent as well. The prepared dishes have a good amount of flavor and are served in large portions. The interior is a cozy little get away with comfortable seating and a pleasant atmosphere. Made this my new primary sushi place since GG has let me down so many times. Have order lunch for pick up and delivery, order were prepared in a timely manner and were accurate with plenty of chopsticks sent along and condiments. Staff is friendly and helpful if you have questions about anything on the menu.

I’ve come here twice this week, because the food is excellent, and the man who has served us both times has been very attentive and friendly. It helps that I’m mildly obsessed with their bagel roll. I’ll definitely be visiting often.

Why all the negative reviews? I’m a sushi/Asian food lover and have had this kind of food in a ton of different places, and I think Mint2Thai isn’t bad at all. It’s located just a 2min drive from Emory, so I’ve been here a few times.(Bonus for Emory students: show your Emory ID and get a free delicious Thai iced tea!) The inside is actually very clean, well-decorated and has plenty of seating. It’s a nice place for a casual sit-down dinner. The staff is very attentive and friendly, although can be very slow if you don’t ask directly for something. The first time, my friend found a Groupon for a ginormous sushi boat. She and my other friend split the sushi boat, and I decided to try the Prik King, a type of Thai dish with string beans(my favorite). I thought the flavor of my dish was really good, and it was a sizable portion. They gave rice on the side, so I had a perfect mix of flavorful Prik King and slightly sticky jasmine rice – just how I like my rice. My friends fully enjoyed their sushi. There was a wide selection of sushi and sashimi, all of which seemed pretty well made. Between the 2 of them, they finished almost he entire boat! The second time I came for sushi. I ordered 2 rolls, which came in about 15−20min. Not bad since we were a party of 4 and it seemed like there were only a couple sushi chefs. The sushi tasted pretty standard in my opinion. Nothing special, but not bad at all. The pricing is standard too. I would recommend this place for a quick sushi fix if you’re shopping in one if the surrounding shopping centers(better than Yami Sushi). However, if you’re looking for quality sushi at just as affordable of a price, I recommend Sushi Matsuya in the Toco Hills Shopping Center, which is just a ~5min drive away. The Thai food is decent, but pretty pricey for more of a casual, takeout restaurant.

Been wanting to try Mint2 forever, not sure why, and now sure would never try again! There are two locations, one in Midtown and another in Decatur — I went to the Decatur one with a friend for a late lunch around 3pm. It has a decent location and décor inside is neat and fitting the Thai connection. We went there to eat sushi of course, so that might’ve been the mistake aha… Anyhows, we were super hungry, had bought a $ 22 Mint2 Lover’s Sushi Boat experience for Two, which includes edamame, soup(or salad) and a two rolls of sushi(1 California &1 Spicy Tuna) and 10 pcs of sushi and 12 pcs of sashimi«chosen by the chef». Seemed like a good deal… the price is supposedly $ 45 retail without coupon! The included miso soup was good but in a tiny rice bowl only ½ filled, the two rolls of sushi tasted bland and were barely 1″ in diameter, the sashimi was chosen probably cause they are left over tiny pieces of meat… overall, cool presentation in the boat but not re-visit worthy. The waitress we had was really nice though(she had a tattoo of Boston on her wrist), we did order 3 beers to drink total — they were super expensive at $ 9/bottle, omg! That is where they get you I guess… wow! Total came to $ 22+$ 30=$ 52 for two people for lunch! Too expensive for low quality food. Can’t imagine if I paid full price… Yikes! Not recommended.
