You would never really know that this place was even there since it is located nestled in a small strip of shops that are jammed together. From the outside, it looks a bit sketchy(but that hasn’t stopped me before — some places are jewels on the inside!). I am a fan of African inspired coffees(I am a coffee fanatic and I always want to try new types and flavors) and this place does not disappoint. Also the coffee is very affordable and you can usually get a fresh brew at any time of the day. The WIFI is also free so it’s good to take advantage of this when you want to get away. The espresso is rather heavy and bitter, but this is not the usual European variety my friend! There is a smattering of baked goods and sandwhiches but these are pretty much gone towards the end of the day. Definitely come earlier(lunch time is the best) to take advantage of these scrumptious morsels. I certainly don’t mind the subtle Somali music and Arabic pop is fun to listen too. It’s not what I usually listen to so I feel like I’m getting away on an excursion for a bit.

The owner lived of Guled Internet Café lived in several countries and even worked for the U.N. before opening up this café that specializes in late-night coffee and hookah. Traditional, somber Somali tunes alternate with upbeat Arabic pop as NBA basketball plays on a wall TV. At the coffee bar, you can order any variety of espresso drinks, Arabic coffee, teas, or a soda. Some baked goods and sandwiches are available for snacking, although they tend to disappear as the night goes on. The best thing? Like many other Clarkston businesses, this place serves tasty products for cheap: A coffee does not exceed $ 2 while the hookah is an Atlanta-low $ 6.
