Thanks, Anthony J. We have the exact same car so your review really helped. I’m a car hypochondriac. If I hear or feel anything unusual, I run to a mechanic. First I scour Beemer chat rooms, forums, etc. so I’ll go in able to speak intelligently about the diagnosis. Usually a major turnoff as few specialists want to hear a girl rattle off technical problems before they’ve been substantiated, but whatevs. I know cars fairly well, especially my own. AND, I’m cheap so I research everything just waiting to prove a mechanic wrong. This shop is so far from my home, but worth the trip. I just KNEW I needed front brakes, front suspension bushing and tire rods (thanks ATL potholes!) and a coolant gauge check. Why is it that the minute you take your car in, all problems disappear and you look koo koo? Anthony, the owner, was so professional. I made an appointment, was guaranteed a return time and offered a loaner car. Brakes had several millimeters left, just squeaky from after market pads, no other issues found. He could have easily replaced the brakes now instead of allowing me the addition 7000 miles or so. Very honest, very punctual, extremely clean waiting area with wi-​fi, even a car wash and sales area.
I’m proud to announce that I don’t have to walk the streets after all in order to pay for a brake job. Just oil, filter, diagnostic check and I’m rolling again. About $ 250 total.

I own a 2000 528i and I have used Drummer Imports for a number of years. I first started using them as an alternative toward going to the dealer $$$. However, when I first started using the service it took a while for them to understand that BMW owners are spoiled… We expect to have our cars detailed if a certain amount of money has been paid ($ 1,000 or more) for repairs, i.e. that is the minimum service that is extended at the dealership. Again, it is worth repeating that comparatively «Drummer Imports» can deliver quality service at a cheaper price than the dealer. Having said that… If you own or are thinking of owning a BMW, then you should know that BMW stands for Bring… Money…With you.
All kidding aside, I appreciate their honesty and I recommend their service!!!
