Alsace is the Eastern region of France on the border of Germany and Switzerland. You find a strong Germanic influence in Alsace food (Sauerkraut and pork dishes, spaetzle, onion pie…) and wines.
Café Alsace presents a few of these typical dishes as well as classic French fare (Cassoulet, Boeuf Bourguignon, Coq au Vin…) and dishes created by Chef Pascal Burel (from Alsace, France with Benedicte Ulsas Cooper, co-founder of Café Alsace, which opened in 1997.
Pascal brings his technical and creative knowledge of French cuisine while Benedicte, native of Alsace shares her traditional family recipes.
Our wait staff speaks French and is happy to give more details about the menu and recommend pairing wines.
