American Deli

O stars… The owner is rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. My credit card was charged twice for the same purchase, and when I called to inform them the owner was rude and began to shout… not allowing me to explain what had taken place. Horrible customer service.

0 stars! The owner is racist and extremely disrespectful. I usually go to the original location in South Dekalb Mall however I was on this side of town and went to this location. He made a request for something I usually ask for anytime I go to any American Deli. He wanted to charge me extra. I politely told him they didn’t charge me extra at the other locations. He shoved my food through the little opening because this scary man has a bullet proof wall up, yes you read that right, called me a liar and told me not to come back. Once he said that I asked for a refund, he got upset and told me to get out. Needless to say I was hurt because I didn’t disrespect him nor make an unreasonable request. I know nothing came of it but I did report him to corporate. Disgusting. Do t support this man as he does not value his customers.

Just disrespectful! Rude and lack of customer appreciation. I will NEVER eat there again… Gone

The worst employee I have ever seen. They are so rude untrusted cashier. I order my hot wing over the phone they said it will be in 10min and I get there in 20 min my food still not ready and the cashier still demand me to pay in advance today I was west my launch time and my gas. Am super mad and disappointed on American daily.

Rude employees! Tried to make an order for wings and she hung up because she couldn’t understand what Buffalo wings are! The location on Covington hwy is better.

The World’s Smallest Wings. This place has bad service. I hate going to place where the people treat like they do want your business. I ordered 10 wings and they were soooo small.

I LOVE this place!!! The wings are absolutely AMAZING. I swear I am addicted to the hot sauce. I some times mix sauces like I’ll mix the hot honey with the hot sauce. Either way this place is AMAZING. I moved from Georgia and am now back in Austin, TX and I miss this place sooo much. I wish there were American Deli’s in TX or heck all over the world!

The mild sauce is not good at all. It is so salty. I need a gallon of fruit punch to wash the wings down!

I really like this location. I’ve tried one on Fairview Rd. It was not as good.
My favorite wing flavors here are hot wings and lemon pepper. 5 stars for those when they do them right about 90% of the time, when they are saucy and well seasoned. They fry them to a nice crisp.
Every once in awhile there is inconsistency. I’ve ate the food a few times and the sauce was more bland and thin tasting.
They also need to work on their call in orders. They say ‘ten minute’ but when you get there 12 minutes later you might still end up waiting for a few minutes. It is a good deal faster to call it in though, since this location can get busy and crowded. Most order their food to go.
I also like their teriyaki wings, honey bbq wings, and chicken philly sandwiches. The fries are basic crinkle cuts, but they fry them how I like them. The gyros are decent, for a fast food American version.
