This place was such a disappointment. I ordered the deliziosa pasta… the waiter recommended it as their top seller. It came with a side of chicken lemon rice soup. The soup tasted as though it was straight out of a can. And oddly enough… it smelled like cat food. There wasn’t a single hint of lemon in there so I asked for some lemon. The waiter went to the kitchen and came back saying they were out of lemon. My response was«I can tell» while pointing to the soup. We were there on a Saturday at 4:20pm. They open at 4… how are they out??! The penne pasta tasted so bland and buttery. It tasted like a microwave dinner! I got it with shrimp… the way it was cooked gave it a really heavy seafood taste that overwhelmed any of the pesto favor. I asked for a side of ranch for the bread sticks(which were actually edible)…it tasted sour! I really wanted to like this place… but man I would have to say it is one of the worst dinners I’ve ever had. They are a Coney Island wannabe restaurant but Coney Island is waaaay better. Oh and don’t get me started on the owner wearing jeans and walking around with his slippers on… so unprofessional… I most definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to even my worst enemy.

As usual, my meal at Deliziosa was really outstanding. Although, something seems to have changed about their chicken lemon rice soup. For awhile, it was on my Top 3 list of soups I’d love to have a gallon of if I was sick. As of this meal, it has officially fallen off the charts. It doesn’t taste like it’s just an «off» batch, but just recipe of the soup itself has changed. It’s a lot thicker than before, and that’s normally not a bad thing, but this has the canned cream of chicken or cream of celery taste, not thickened by using actual cream. My entrée was fantastic. I had an 8 oz filet with mashed potatoes and vegetables and a marsala tasting steak/zip sauce. The meat was cooked to a beautiful medium rare, and I love that the mashed potatoes taste real. It’s certainly no cafeteria potato powder or flakes. My husband had the Ben and Andy Pepper Dali. It’s essentially jazzed up fettucine alfredo with chicken, vegetables, and black pepper and other additional seasonings. Whoever Ben and Andy are, did a great job making the suggested changes to the fettucine alfredo because that was delicious as well. We also love their warm bread. They often have deals of Groupon, but it’s a place worth visiting even if you have to pay full price.

This is a great place for delicious comfort food, but for that classy fancy experience? Yeah, not so much. We seated ourselves at a booth, but the floor was slippery. Come on. At least put up a sign! I ordered a Chicken Wrap Up with a side Ceaser salad. My tables salads came about five minutes after we ordered them. My salad was awesome. The dressing was delicious and I love the cheese on top. My only complaint is that it could use some croutons. When my wrap came, it was love at sight. The fries were great: thick and soft. And the wrap? Messy, but it was great. My sister got the almond chicken, which is pretty much the best thing on the menu. Words can’t describe how good it is. Do yourself a favor and go get it. Now the service? We hadn’t had a problem with it before, but this time, it was very unprofessional. I’ve had way better service from them in the past. This place is better for takeout. But whatever you do, just enjoy the food.

Me and my fiancé went to eat there we ordered chicken wraps and the chicken tasted old the salad was soggy. The waiter didn’t give us silverware or the table behind us. We had to ask for everything no one Checked on us. The service here is garbage so is the food. Over priced food for nothing place is also dirty. Bad idea

Horrible experience, four almond chicken ordered for four people. My party received their plates before I did and immediately complained about the rice saying it was uncooked. I sat back and told them it couldn’t be as bad as they are saying. One of them insisted to try from their plate, grabbing my fork I scooped up some rice and put them in my mouth. It was like biting rocks… I never complain about restaurants no matter how bad the service or food is. I always staying humble and just finishing my visit. Anyways, after receiving my plate, the first thing I try is the rice, same rock hard rice as the ones in everyone’s plate. Calling the waiter over to the table, I complained that the rice was hard and is uncooked. He went back behind the counter and came back saying he can substitute the rice with fries… I told him that is not something I would like to do, leaving the last resort I didn’t want to do, I sent back my plate and asked for the bill. After receiving the bill, just my plate was deducted from the total, my party called over the waiter once again and told him they would like their plates deducted from the bill as well since they also left their plates alone after eating the uncooked rice. Waiter goes back behind the counter to tell the manager about the issue once again. Manager insists the rice is fully cooked… You piece of $%#!. At this point all I wanted to do was bash his head in my plate forcing these rocks called rice down his throat. Of course tho, I remained calm. The cook comes out all angry saying his rice is fully cooked, I’m sorry sir, but that rice was far from cooked and it would just be better to admit to your mistake… Things happen and they could be fixed but not admitting to your mistake is a bad decision. As a manager or cook, I believe they did a horrible job trying to convince me that the rice was cooked, cook tried to say he pulled the rice from the bottom of the rice cooker. Shouldn’t all the rice be cooked and not just the ones on the top, I am not a professional cook so I don’t know… Plates were deducted as asked. But the manager and cook remained obnoxious claiming their rice was fully cooked. All I wanted was an apology saying I’m sorry there was a mistake back there or whatever. It is really not that serious. We paid for the soups and salads we ate and left. Should of been better about the situation. Last time I will ever step foot there and sure same goes with the rest of my party.

On Saturday June 13 — 2015, my family and I drove from Canada to have dinner at Deliziosa Bistro and its not the first time we had dinner there, food is good and great and thats why we repeat going there. But this visit was different from before, we’ve been sarved by Rania(thats what she told us about her name), anyway service was not that good at all and our table had no spoons or froks so i had to go and ask for them after our dinner was served. Finished the dinner went to the casher to pay my bill was $ 122 and some change for 6 ppl, not bad at all, but Rania added to the bill 20%($ 22)and she said thats her tip, come on, is this ur new policy requesting ur customer to pay TIP … Sorry to the owner, you just lost my business.

***I’d recommending this place for carry out. The Chicken Marengo — Three fresh chicken breasts sautéed in roasted-pepper sauce with black olives, and mushrooms and I got it served over vegetables instead of rice — ABSOLUTELY delicious. The sauce isn’t crazy heavy and it is a very large portion. I have had it a couple of times and both times, it served multiple meals. The salad there is delicious as well. I’ve heard great things about the soup too. I did dine in with a groupon and the experience wasn’t the best. Our waitress was very confused and two of my friends ordered a salmon entrée and was informed that they only had one piece of salmon left. The restaurant was completely empty and the staff was horsing around in the back of the restaurant which I was to be distracting. I’m far from a dining snob, but the booth was dirty — there was crumbs all of the seats and the ledge next to the window to the point that I did not want to put my purse down. The other downside is that the food is expensive. The chicken dish is $ 16, but keep it mind it is big and you can make multiple meals out of it.

This place is a great dinner/lunch spot. If you are ever in the mood for pasta in dearborn, this is the place to go. Their penne arrabiata is phenomenal! They have a good wait staff as well. Everything comes out on time and is always ready. The place is usually packed on the weekends.

To start off, I’m a waitress myself and i understand how restaurants work and how things get stressful and it’s hard to satisfy EVERYONE. But also, I’d like to add, there are very little restaurants I’ve been this disappointed in. If you’re going to take 20 minutes just to greet my table and put water on my table, I expect you to be swamped with people. But my boyfriend and I were one out of the three tables in there. I was completely blown away. Furthermore, it took some great time for my waiter to put a damn soup and salad on my table. If I’m paying $ 20ish per entrée I expect good service, and maybe even some complimentary bread for waiting 30 minutes+ for water and silverware. I will never be returning and will never be referring my friends and family to this restaurant, unless I’ve been told changes have been made.

I really like this place, but it seems that every time I go, they are out of so many items. Usually it’s the smoked salmon and one of the soft drinks; and it just creates such a bummer when you are looking forward to something! Me and my friend go here often– it’s «our» place whenever we can get together with our crazy lives and a bit of away time away from the husbands. There is no wait time, the portions are large and the prices are fair.

The food is good, very large portions. But after u eat it u feel that oil-butter sour feeling. U can tell they put a lot of butter into there chicken or meat. They always take a long time to bring out the food. Overall, the food is good and tasty.

They told me they will only deliver if I order $ 150 worth of food or more??? This is third restaurant I have tried to order from in Dearborn who that has had this type of stipulation. Is this the new tactic used instead of saying we won’t deliver to predominately black cities?

Where to start, the fresh mozzarella was not fresh, the salad was stale and salty i felt the ulcers forming as I ate it had little Mediterranean flavor, the chicken was old and reheated not freshly grilled, let us not forget the little bug which dug into the feta cheese. First and last time.

I was really disappointed today. I had been talking up Deliziosa and convinced a group of coworkers to have lunch there today. We had a table of nine, five of whom had never been there before. We ordered our food at 11:55. We all had 1pm meetings, so we figured we’d be fine. As of 12:30pm, three tables that had been seated after we ordered had their food, and we still didn’t have ours. Let me add that the place was about 1⁄3 full, so it’s not like it was swamped. The food arrived between 12:35 and 12:40pm, and many of the people in our group had to take their food to go and stick it in a fridge at work, possibly to be eaten later. Others took a few bites and then packed it up into a travel container. It is completely unacceptable for nine sandwiches and french fries to take 45 minutes from ordering until they came back to the table. Four of my friends in the group said that they’ll never set foot in the place again. Other than that, the food was good. I especially liked my Diablo Chicken Roll-up, as usual. But I don’t think I can justify coming back to this restaurant at lunch time again.

To start off, the interior of this place was probably a lot nicer 10 years ago. We sat in a booth near the windows, which was kind of gross. The bathroom was disgusting. Paper towels all over the floor, no soap and no paper towels. It looked like no one had gone in all day to check the bathroom. The place gave me a dirty vibe. Our waiter was really nice, but wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. He wasn’t very knowledgable about the menu, when we asked him how the fish was prepared for one of the items(breaded, fried???). Again, he was really nice, but didn’t have good communication or customer service skills… perhaps because he was really nervous(we were polite to him during out entire visit) I ordered the almond chicken that came with a side salad. The chicken had a vinegary taste and the cream sauce it was smothered in was really bland. It came with a side of rice, that was probably the best tasting thing on the plate. My friend ordered the seafood sandwich and it too had no flavor. The sandwich came with a side of salad and some potatoes. The only positive thing I can say about the food was that the portions are large. In conclusion, I would never go back and I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. If you’re looking for REAL italian food, I would suggest crossing the border to Windsor and heading to Spagos on Erie Street.

This is a place we don’t travel to very often, but save it instead, for a «special» night out. They have redecorated and it’s gorgeous! The staff has always been kind and friendly. I’ll tell you a little story… one day not too long ago, my hubby and I went to this restaurant during Ramadon. It was pretty empty on a Saturday night because people would be all showing up around 9:00 pm, at dusk when the Muslims are allowed to stop their fasting. I had ordered my favorite«lemon chicken rice» soup and it tasted like«water». That hasn’t ever happened before, so I told our very kind waiter about it and he took it away and told the chef. I saw the chef taste the soup and he made a terrible face! LOL… it was kinda funny actually! He said that he had been fasting and couldn’t really taste the soup that day. Usually they let the wait staff taste it if they are not Muslim and fasting during Ramadon. For some reason, they hadn’t done that on this evening. So he made a nasty face and I saw that he agreed with me and they actually FIXED the soup up and brought me a new bowl, as good as ever! I was so excited to have my favorite soup again. I was happy that they listened to me, believed in my opinion and then fixed the situation personally to suit me! Not many places would do that these days, in my humble opinion! My husband and I go there for almost the same meal each time. There is a sort of lighter side meal that we order when we aren’t too hungry. Then there is the heavier bigger meal, that we get when we are going there really hungry! The lighter side meal is the«Chicken salad wrap»…OMG it’s «to die for» yummy! It’s a thin tortilla with the best and most perfectly made chicken salad(it has walnuts and grapes in it too! MMMM good!!) with fresh ingredients and always fresh and wonderful tasting! You can get soup or side salad with their house dressing(it’s out of this world. great tasting sweet and sour type of balsamic dressing). If we are going there for our bigger dinner type of meal, we both get the same thing! Can you even believe it? We love the«Bolognese», it’s the very best and freshest pasta with the leanest and tastiest meat and then the sauce is light and wonderfully fresh and delectable! If you are ever going towards Dearborn, MI you just must try this little«out of the way» restaurant, in the little strip mall! It doesn’t look like a romantic and delicious little restaurant. But never judge a restaurant by being in a strip mall! This place is the best little spot to eat a great and delicious meal and you get served by the most pleasant and kind, helpful servers. To top it off, the Managers, Owners, Chef… they all care also and this is why this place works !!! They care and listen and then they fix it if something is wrong. They fix it NOW… right then, right there… they’ll fix it for you and you always leave full and happy! Hmmmm… I’m getting hungry…“Hey honey… will you take me to Delizioza tonight??”…LOL

Good food, great service, family-friendly(although this comes with noise). I have eaten here regularly and am happy with my food and service every time. As a bonus, the bread sticks are amazing! I may have additional positive bias towards Deliziosa because there are some great looking male servers. The prices are not consistent– be prepared to pay an extra dollar or two for special accommodations, but the food is definitely worth it every time. Try the chicken rollup at lunch and the Almond Chicken or Pesto Linguine dePollo at dinner. edit: I forgot to add that the online menu is outdated.
