In a city filled with great Arabic restaurants this has now become my favorite after my first trip. The servers are very professional and the food was amazing. I ordered the lamb chops and definitely recommend that to anyone. The hummus is the best I’ve had in years. Very good restaurant and people.

I seen this open up a couple months ago and had been wanting to try it out. This was honestly one of the best Arabic restaurants I’ve ever been to. We ordered the lamb chops and chicken cilantro. It came with hummus, salad and fries. The lamb chops were so tender and chicken was cooked to perfection. The service was very fast and the waiter was very kind. I will definitely be coming back here.

It’s been a long while since I’ve been down here. This place is fresh, 6 months or so but impressive value. Service was a bit slow, they were busy… it’s sat night, but the server was amazing and friendly and incredibly accommodating. The real treat? Crazy prices. We’ll be back.

I get carryout from Baba’s a couple times a month and am always impressed. Ordering on the phone is a breeze. Their wait times are always reasonable(usually under 15 minutes for carryout) and the dedicated pick-up area is a plus. I’m a huge fan of their garlic sauce… so light, fluffy and deathly garlicy. I usually get a chicken shawarma for about $ 4. They are seriously huge. I can never eat it in one sitting, meaning for $ 4, I get two meals. You can’t go wrong with that. The employees are always really friendly. I am really glad I found Baba’s Grill. Tasty food, large portions and friendly staff mean I’ll keep getting my lunch fix here.

Nice environment. Severs and food both good. I personally like the spicy potatoes. It’s taste so good! Two people we order the spicy potatoes and chicken mushroom stuff and a beef sandwich. They give us two soup as side and plus the bread and hommos for free. Me and my friend(two girls) couldn’t finish it and the rest of them can cover our dinner. It’s only cost 23 dollars. I mean I think it’s worth more than the price.

Honestly this is the best arabic restaurant I have EVER been too! The service was absolutely amazing, speedy and the waiter was insanely polite. The food was great. We ordered the falafels, humus, and foul and they were all great. They gave radishes, a garlic paste, and the cutest little pita bread. I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it

What a hidden gem. Very good service and large portion sizes for the lunch at a great price. I did not order a dinner here so I can not comment on the dinner. I enjoyed my shish kabob, it had the perfect amount of spice to it ! would return here for lunch another time :)

So you walk in beneath the LED sign, and it looks like a normal restaurant. Inside, though… a delicious heaven. I brought a few new friends with me from Chicago who were looking for a unique food experience. We’d discussed that Middle Eastern in Dearborn was where it’s at. I opened the menu, and saw Fettucini Alfredo as an option. I got concerned about the authenticity of this place. As I was explaining the different appetizer choices to my brother, our waitress appeared like an angel with hummus, tabbouleh, baba, and a fattoush salad, as well as olives, garlic sauce, and bread. Yes, I was in heaven. We then went on to order our meals(because, stupid us, we thought we would be hungry). Falafel, Gallayah of both beef and chicken, and shish tawook were ordered. Needless to say after the baba, hummus, and tabbouleh were devoured, we were stuffed. Our waitress needs a separate paragraph. She was kind, attentive, and explained food ingredients to our group as we were blown away by the taste of the baba and the fattoush salad, which had popping flavors(from the smoked tahini and the mint, respectively). She brought all the appetizers by without us ordering anything, and on top of that, did not charge us for anything! We were 4 of the 6 people in the restaurant for 2 hours, but she certainly did not need to do that. On our way out, the ladies who were cooking in the kitchen were so pleased to send us home with 2 bags of takeout and thrilled we enjoyed our experience and food so much. Don’t go here, because then it will get super popular and I won’t be able to get a table. But if you do go here, you’ll love it.

WORSTSERVICEEVER!!!, I got the cream chops and let’s just say if you want chewy chicken this is the place to go to, my chicken was legit so hard to bite and swallow from, we found a hair in the hummus and it took 20 minutes to take our order and to get water also another 10 to receive bread. also once the waiter took our hummus and never gave us it to go he still charged us $ 5 for a SMALL

I brought a friend here who had never tried middle eastern cuisine and she was blown away at how delicious the food was. We had the dinner for two with the fattoush, hummus, bread and garlic sauce, 3 kinds of shish kabobs and rice. It was all very good. Would recommend it to anyone. Great food, great service.

I would give 4.5 if I could. I’m knocking a little off because some of the waitstaff seem to be inexperienced and do what you expect inexperienced waitstaff to do. Aside from that, the food is, as I put it to a co-worker who came looking for source of the delicious smell coming from my takeout, «so good, I can’t eat it as fast as I want to!» Portion sizes are very generous. Pricing is very reasonable. My company frequently caters with them and dines there so they take really, really good care of us. They obviously value loyalty, as they have a loyalty card for frequent diners. The ambience is very nice; the remodel looks terrific. Please do yourself a favor and try them out! :)

Ordered the meal for 2 during lunch. The bread is delicious, they give you garlic to dip it in, and the meals came with delicious salad and rice. The lunch feast came with hummus. The place was very new and remodeled.

We are New Yorkers and were road-tripping through Detroit July 2015 and headed to the Henry Ford Museum. Knowing that Dearborn had a Middle Eastern community, we were most happy to look for lunch along the way to the museum. Baba’s Grill was a random find with an easy parking lot, but I can say to this day it was the best lunch ever! So fresh. Establishment so clean. Generous portions. I can’t think of a place in NYC that can rival it. I had the vegetarian combo. My partner had the chicken kabob. I so wish there was something comparable in my Manhattan neighborhood. Will always have a fond foodie memory of this lunch :-) thanks!

This is a great Arab Food restaurant near DEARBORN’s city Hall. A really friendly staff and tasteful décor, including cloth napkins. Delicious Arabic coffee and desserts. I’m sure their full Arab food menu is all super tasty!
