Great to see more fresh healthy alternatives to the regular fast food chains out there. the place could use some updating, warmth etc. though the food on my two occasions was great, the hamburger buns are terrific, I mean really good. I hear they are rolling out new bun flavors which has to be a first.
I hear they have several places opening soon, I wish them the best. I hear they pay their employees well too…

Terrible parking. Mediocre service, long wait with only 2 people ahead of me. Place did not seem particularly clean. Perhaps because it was so small. Expensive for what we got.
Dropped my wife off and headed out to an appointment, eating my hamburger on the way. Surprisingly bland. My wife actually called me to tell me how bad her hamburger tasted. The fries tasted like they’d been sitting around for awhile. Maybe it was an off day for them, but too many negatives to consider a return trip.

I’ve been coming here since the start. Things changed… original buns were gluten laden but great. Burger was grass fed and tasty. Bacon was applewood smoked pork and very tasty. I used to dream of these burgers — they were that good. Garlic oil fries = awesome.
They started with the buns… gluten free buns that is. Took a little convincing for some while others were not convinced… those allergic to gluten loved em as they were leagues ahead of other gluten free options. But they weren’t quite the same as their predecessors in the end.
Meat supplier changed… wagyu beef came to the menu. Joseph Decuis farm provided it. It was quite good, but suffered from some inconsistency. Along with this change, the awesome applewood pork got replaced by tough, boring beef bacon.
Notorious cluck sandwich then and now = amazing. Seriously one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had. The slaw works very well on the sandwich — an oil/​vinegar style vs creamy slaw.
Fast forward to Now… new beef supplier (Saad meats). Grass fed, antibiotic, hormone free. All great stuff. The flavor = awesome. Last few burgers I had were made with this beef and were all excellent.
The buns have also changed again. They are still gluten free but made with plantain flour now instead of the coconut flour which gave the last version a sweet flavor. The buns can be crisped up on the grille or basted with different oils (honey, garlic or Cajun). I’ve only tried honey on a notorious cluck and loved it.
The last burger I had was a steakburger with bacon and I got the regular bun… simply one of the best burgers I recall having, period. The bun was flavorful and much lighter than the previous version. The burger and bacon was perfect. Better yet, they have been able to secure better pricing on their meat and consequently dropped their prices on the burgers substantially. Same for the notorious cluck.
I’ve been a regular for a while, but the recent changes have just made me want to go even more frequently. Great job!

This is a good place to go every once in a while when I just don’t want to eat the same old thing. Every month they have a special menu with some sort of theme. And then I end up going on a run of when I have to eat this stuff all the time.

Everything about this place is great, except the bun. The burgers are tasty, the chicken sandwiches huge, the fries outstanding. Even their pop company, Northwood Soda Company, is great.
The bun. Apparently it’s gluten free, which is cool if you have Celiac disease. I don’t. Unfortunately, big, juicy burgers and slaw-​laden chicken sandwiches absolutely obliterate the bun. Honestly, within two bites, the bun had completely disintegrated. If there’s a next time, I may even skip the bun altogether and just have the burger served right on top of a bed of fries.
I get the bun is a great way to differentiate yourself from other offerings out there, but I think it’s close to a deal breaker. Make a deal with Brown’s bakery or something and give us a second option!

Best burgers in town, and I should know… My first phrase ever was «burgers are delicious»
I love this place, yes it’s not cheap, but you always feel like you’re paying for the quality of food and the quality of life for the employees. They’re pretty nice people, so I’m okay with paying a tiny bit more for awesomeness.
Their burgers smells better than any other burgers I have ever smelled, and they taste just as good if not better. Best. Burgers. Ever. Some people that have left reviews that lead me to believe that they do not «get» this place. Yes the buns are different, but they are low carb and gluten free. I have celiac disease, so I’ve tried a lot of GF buns, these are by far the very best GF buns around. Sooooo good.
Have I mentioned I love bread, hate having celiacs and hate Gluten free bread in general? These buns are different, but in an absolutely wonderful way. Moo cluck moo almost makes me feel like a normal human again. I can actually go here without having to explain my entire diet and celiacs in general, and then beg and plead for them not to accidentally poison me. I felt weird ordering from here and not having to worry about that, and weirder when the food didn’t taste gluten free.
I haven’t had onion rings in years, and their GF onion almost brought me to tears. Tears of pure joy. The garlic fries are to die for and so are the shakes! This is a place where fitness people and celiacs can find a tasty treat and bring their friends too.
This food is so good, we drive a half an hour each way to get it.

I have been going to this location for about a year. I have been forced to be gluten free for about three years now and it is really difficult some times to eat out. I really missed having a good burger. My husband heard about this place through a friend (they gave it a great review) so he took me there for lunch. I was hooked! High quality meat, cooked just right on a very moist and palatable gluten free bun. My husband who’s not gluten free liked my burger so much he chooses to eat here too now.
The service is not super fast, but each meal is made to order. It’s definitely worth the wait. Their sea salt fries are awesome too. I crave the food here and probably come about twice a month. I am so glad this place is here it makes being gluten free a whole lot easier!

I wanted to love this place because I like what they stand for: higher quality ingredients, no food funny business, emphasis on local and paying the employees a fair wage. Few places do this successfully and it appears that MCM is on their way as they now have multiple locations.
We plugged the address into the GPS and we passed it twice. It’s not easy to find because it’s the middle store in a small strip mall. It didn’t help that Telegraph is horribly under construction right in front. If it helps, look for the tattoo shop on the corner and park behind the building. Strike one.
I thought that since the employees make considerably more than other fast food workers that they would be friendlier. Nope. The two guys working there could care less even the place was dead. I asked for his recommendation and he said that, «the menu is small» and «do you really need a suggestion? It’s either chicken or a burger.» Yeah, I gathered that from reading. Strike two.
I ordered the Biggest Moo which is two ¹⁄₃ Wagyu beef patties on their homemade bread. I’m not used to eating Wagyu but it has a slight smell to it that is just different than what you’re used to. That aside, the burger is just bland and overall flavorless which then begs to be slathered in ketchup to make up for it. C’mon MCM, a little salt and pepper go a long way. I expect this from the arches not a place that uses Wagyu beef. The bread is different too. It isn’t the bulk of the meal which is nice but rather has a tendency to fall apart with the double meat because it is lighter and not spongy like a traditional hamburger bun. Perhaps scale back down to the single ¹⁄₃ patty to better even out the meat to bun ratio. I also ordered the BBQ fries which were tossed in a dry rub seasoning. I ate about ¼ of my serving because all I could taste was the dry rub. It was simply too overwhelming. My wife had the garlic fries and she said the same thing – too much seasoning, greasy and messy. It was clear that the two gents didn’t give a rat’s rear about attention to detail or customer service. Strike three.
The highlights of the visit were the orangesicle milkshake and the Northwoods sodas which were spectacular and for that I give the second star. Like I said, I want to love this place and perhaps look into purchasing a franchise but they need to hone it in first. I’ll give this place a second visit but I’ll go to Canton location instead.

I like this place, I really do. Since discovering an untimely (because when it is ever the right time to be gluten intolerant) intolerance, it has proven to be quite difficult to get some eats. My meals nowadays are both greatly researched and meticulously chosen. I no longer expect food to taste a certain way, I’m usually happy if it is simply decent. At MCM, this is not something I have to deal with at all. I can literally eat any and everything on the menu and it makes me so very happy.
I usually get this during my lunch hour, be jealous! The Dearborn Heights location is about a 8 minute drive or so. I typically order online and go straight to the month’s craveables, which are simply the specials with featured flavors for the month. My most recent visit, however, I decided to get a Moo Burger, it’s a good way to be economical with all their freebies like (LTO, BBQ sauce, Steak Sauce). I got my with Smoked Gouda, Bacon (both $.90 each extra) with LTMayo and BBQ Sauce, and it was delicious, just a perfect burger and on the side simply because I was feeling adventurous I got the Honey Glazed cluck bites, which were also delicious.
This isn’t to say that their fries aren’t heavenly, I just didn’t get them because my friends ordered one serving each, and it was enough to feed the office, or at least the 5 of us in the back. The garlic fries are worth losing friends over, seriously and the sea salt fries are nothing scoff at either. Thick cut and perfect flavoring, they are pretty difficult to resist. I easily go here at least once — twice a week, without shame.
There are times where the burgers may be a bit sloppy, there may also be a rare occasion where you’ll have to return because they’re bombarded with orders and human error is a thing, so just keep in mind maybe give your burger a once over before heading out. Other than that, they’re kind, apologetic when mistakes happen, and keep calm voices as you frantically call them after having had 2 cluck bites to confirm in the Cluck Bites too are gluten free. To which they’ll calmly reply, «No worries. It is all gluten-​free.»

I have been going to Moo Cluck Moo for a while now. I visited from a social deal they offered and have returned (alot) because of the food, staff, and values. They offer a Craveables Menu, which changes every month. They are usually a unique, chicken, beef, salad, fry, and shake options. I am in love with Craveable fries that have included fries coated in Hot Tamales (yes, taking it back to childhood) and the latest creation with BBQ spice. The soda is real and the shakes are made with real milk (creamy and smooth).
The burgers are fresh and the buns are high in protein. If you are into healthy options then Moo Cluck Moo would be a great option. If you are a fast food, squishy bun lover then you will be a little shocked when you try a burger. The buns are gluten free, low in carbs and high in fiber and protein. I am fine with them and my child even enjoys them in the kids meals.
You get quality ingredients and the price is a little higher than fast food, but comparable to your sit down restaurants. A burger will run about $ 9 and includes the basic fixings (onions, lettuce, etc.). I don’t mind paying extra for decent food. They offer a frequent visit punchcard that will save you $$$ after 10 punches.
Social media has become apart of everyday life for many and they offer deals/​specials on Facebook and Instagram. Overall, I enjoy a visit to Moo Cluck Moo.

The service is always great here and i don’t worry about my food trying a little extra to get prepared; at least i know it’s not sitting out.
Please note — I highly suggest trying different types of sandwiches. My «go-​to» sandwich is a standard BLT (cut in half) or a moo burger; you’ll definitely have to get used to bread. I really want to love it but right now i’m just dealing with it. You can opt to use a different type of bun — unfortunately it might have more carbs in.
THE GARLIC… OMG YOU CAN GO WRONG! Probably the worst thing to order but they are so good and you’ll get a ton of them.

Not a place the bring a family. $ 65 for a family of 5. Buns were soft, food overall was not edible. Hipsters can keep this one, it isn’t for everyone (especially those who enjoy the taste of good food)

I am a bit torn on this place. I thought everything about the burger was great, including the bun, which I was surprised at due to the low carb crumbling aspect but I liked it. The veggies including the fresh bright green jalapeños were delicious fresh and crunchy. Truly, the burger and it’s ingredients reminded me of a Vietnamese sandwich shop I adored in Chicago.
I one complaint. Do not serve the best meat possible and only allow medium well, that is ludicrous. I was given an excuse that the menu needed to be changed to reflect some state language describing if you consume under cook meat blah blah blah. Okay, so I bought that and could see the issue, until I looked up how long it has been in business, since 2013, far too long to be still destroying meat.

I think Moo might be under appreciated. I think some people might not really get what they have done from a food stand point that is totally different and makes them awesome. I got the Notorious Cluck with bacon and smoked gouda, and a snack size fried cluck with bbq sauce.
Having spent countless hours toying around with various high protein breads, the bun is absolutely amazing at Moo Cluck Moo. Yeah, it’s a little wimpy and falls apart… use a fork or get a little messy! Low carb? Check. High protein? Check. High fiber? Check. It’s a fitness addicts perfect bun.
Massive Amish chicken dredged in coconut flour, spices and butter milk and flash fried… yes please. Closing down a «fast food» meal with under 20g of carbs and over 15g of fiber is unreal. It just doesn’t happen. The chicken had a great crunch, mild spice kick (not «hot») and buttermilk flavor. The bacon could have been crispier, but I don’t even care.
This is not meant to be a chicken sandwich from a typical fast food joint. these are specialized, healthier, better ingredients that add so much more to the meal. If there were a MCM in every city I travel to for work, I would eat nothing but MCM on the road, and I would flash my 6 pack everywhere gleefully.
My only hope is that they continue to have a «growth» mindset and improve and expand their concept. I would love one in Rochester, Troy and Shelby. I know the fitness community would as well.

You just cannot go wrong here. Though the prices are higher than your run of the mill fast food, I promise, you’ll be satisfied. Go with 2 people and each order a sandwich, but split the fries. There are a ton in an order. Also, you should go just for one of their amazing, and I mean amazing, milkshakes. I’m not even a sweets person, but these are really good. Guernsey Dairy ice cream? Yes, please. Plus, they pay their employees a living wage. Eat fast food less often, and plan for that indulgence to be made here.

I said I would give Moo Cluck Moo another shot, and today was the day. Unfortunately, I found myself similarly disappointed. The burger continues to be bland, although this time the bun itself had taken on a slightly moistened sponge-​like texture which was equally unsettling and uncomfortable in terms of mouthfeel. Thinking about it now has made me feel a little woogy.
The garlic fries had more garlic taste to them this time, but still suffers from being overly oily and oversalted. Such a shame.

Great burgers, great fries. But be warned, while this place has a few tables for a few people, they are meager. The location is in no way designed for you to order and sit down and eat with parties larger than 2. It is absolutely designed for carryout.
Parking is also a bit frustrating since you are right on Telegraph. I’m not saying you can’t find somewhere to park, just that you probably won’t find somewhere RIGHT AWAY.
Overall, even with its disadvantages, I would recommend it for the great Burgers and Fries, but plan for carry out.

Went here this past weekend. Girl at the counter was not the friendliest, she needs some customer service training. Cook also seemed unhappy. It doesn’t look like a happy place to work at all. I was expecting a happy experience based on these past reviews but all I got was a quiet counter person who really didn’t help me with my first time order.
Ordered the Moo Burger, the Notorious Cluck Chicken Burger, and the Sea Salt Fries.
We had to wait 15 minutes for them to prepare it. This place is tiny, thank goodness we could sit at the one of two tables. Got our order to go. They have no paper plates. Really? With table seating they have no plates? Not even the cheap dollar store kind? Weird.
Unwrapped our food. chicken sandwich was okay, but nothing to write home about. Very thin piece of chicken with lots of breading. No seasoning and you taste mostly bun. The coleslaw was the vinaigrette kind, a little overpowering. The burger just tasted like plain ground beef, nothing special. The fries were tasty, but they were the size of a Mcds small. I ordered them separately (not part of a combo). It looks like they just gave me a tiny side order.
I find this place not worth the hype. Who cares about fancy sandwich names? That gets old fast. Menu is way overpriced, place has a lack of seating, and terrible hours. A burger place like this closes at 9:00pm on a Friday and Saturday? Why?
On top of it, they placed a sheet of paper in our bag asking us to write a review on Unilocal if we like the place. Well, what if we don’t like the place? Then what do we do? What a joke.
Don’t even bother with this place folks.
