We are a family owned and operated specialty store that has been doing business for 14 years in the Daytona Beach area. Our large selection can fill the need for all sizes and foot types.
My grandma is 84 years old and tore here posterior tibial tendon. She also has scoliosis and was beginning to be discouraged about walking! We needed to get her some shoes! Her podiatrist recommended we come here and boy, am I glad we came! We were greeted the moment we walked in and Nancy was able to bring us right to a place where she could fit my grandmas foot and size. She knew a lot about her feet how they were and was very knowledgeable about what they had to offer in stock! She brought out 3 pairs of shoes and the first pair was a match! Wow! My grandma stood up with confidence and balance and she walked a straight line in the hallway! Best experience I’ve ever had anywhere! Thanks so much for your dedication and passion for shoes! I will recommend this store forever! Thanks again!

I went to Spikes for a pair of shoes for CrossFit. Tyler was extremely helpful and asked a lot of questions to ensure I got the best shoe with the best fit. Spikes has just earned a lifetime customer. I will definitely buy my shoes there from now on, and I would recommend them to anyone. If you have any pain at all in your back, legs or feet, you need to get fitted for a proper pair of shoes. I can’t believe I waited so long. My new shoes are like walking on air!

Thanks to Spikes, I can run again. I was completely oblivious to its existence, despite having lived in this area for over 2 years. In those two years, I have suffered from shin splints regularly. I was one of those people that could not believe the power of newer running shoes and their healing wonder. The staff at Spikes was incredible! I tried about 10 pairs or so until we found the right one that fit my strut. My pair of Sauconys are amazing. I have not ran this well since my high school days. No more muscle fatigue, shin splints, etc. Goodbye miserable runs. I will be returning here regularly from now on. Buy local, support local!

What a treat to get running shoes from a real running store rather than from a chain. The staff here really knows their stuff, and after seeing the difference in service between here and a chain, Spikes has scored a new loyal customer. The address listed here might be a bit confusing for some people as Spikes is actually located in Holly Hill and not Daytona.

Ever since stumbling upon Spikes roughly two years ago, I have refused to purchase shoes from any where else. On my last trip, I took my Dad shopping at Spikes for a new pair of shoes to wear to work. I had raved for years about how great the service at Spikes is and how they have a great selection available for all types of feet, so, my Dad decided that he wanted to go give them a shot. Dan, one of the associates assisted us on our visit– he found several different types of shoes for my Dad and actually showed him that he truly cared. I honestly can not say enough good things about Spikes. I will however agree with Cody, the parking situation can be a tad difficult, especially if you drive a large vehicle.

Spikes is where it’s at. Do yourself a favor and refuse to purchase athletic footwear anywhere else. The employees at Spikes are extremely passionate about the products they sell and are more than willing to spend time with you to answer questions and fit you properly for a shoe. Parking is a bit difficult and easy to miss, so be prepared to turn around a few times.

Not really happy with Spikes right now. My wife and I spent $ 380 there a couple weekends ago. I needed some every day shoes, and we both needed a pair of shoes for a martial arts class we take. We were both having problems during the classes. Some of the stances put your feet at weird angles, and we were both having cramps because of pressure on the instep. We explained the problem, and they recommended shoes to us. Mine worked fine, but my wife’s were way worse than what she had before. Just not the right thing for the class. She called and they said«bring them back.» She did the next day, but it was far from helpful. Basically they told her they’d never recommend that shoe for her. They couldn’t resell them because we didn’t bring the box back. We left the box with them. The sales person said they keep them for people who ask for them at Christmas. After 20+ minutes they finally gave my wife a gift certificate for ½ the cost of the shoes. We’re going to give the certificate to family for Christmas. I’ll never set foot in Spikes again.
