For over 25 years our company has provided quality craftsmanship and superb customer service for our clients in the Volusia and Flagler county areas. From 1978 to 1985, Scott Hemmerlein had worked for several contractors in Volusia County and was disappointed in the quality of the product that was being built. Scott felt a need to provide a better standard in the industry and proceeded to obtain his Building Contractor’s license. Scott and his wife Carol started Scott Construction Company, Inc. in 1986 and a few years later their son Joshua started working over the summers next to his dad, learning how to become a skilled carpenter. Joshua began working full time with his father after gradutation from high school and together Scott and Josh have succeeded to provide outstanding craftsmanship and quality construction to their clients. When you call the business line, you will most likely talk to Carol, who is the glue that holds the administrative side of the company together. Carol’s duties are not limited to her office, as she can be seen all over town applying for permits, picking up materials and even stopping by the jobsite to bring Scott and Joshua a cold beverage during Florida’s hot summer days.
