Race Track Rv

This place was awful. Yes, it is true, it is very close to the racetrack if you are going for a show or race, but they are only open for certain events… meaning they are not an actual campground-​more like a parking lot. We were going to the turkey rod run and had 2 motorhomes at this place. We pulled in, set up, and tried to deal with what we had. We were so close to our neighbor that our slides would even go out all the way without touching the RV next to us. They offer water and electric hook ups or whatever for an additional price. It is not included. Sewage dumping is not included either, it is 30 dollars extra per day. There is no spot for our slides, meaning no spot for our awning either. How are we supposed to eat outside? No table, no room, no nothing! We took our dogs for a walk where we all got filled with stickers that we were removing from shoes, carpet, dog paws, dog ears, etc. This place does not have bathroom facilities, unless you consider an unlit porta potty a restroom.
We called the KOA daytona campground down the block, and they fortunately had 2 openings. We moved, and never regretted it!!!
We got to the other campground which is still very close to the track (about a mile or so). We were entering cars into the show so we had to drive regardless of how close we were to the track, so this place was just fine. This new campground was cheaper by about 200 dollars total (we stayed for 4 nights), included water, electric, sewage, cable, picnic table, laundry facilities, bath facillities, etc. They were very friendly and it was much much nicer than paying to stay in the parking lot that Race Track RV is

This is my favorite place to park the RV when we go to the races. It’s right across the street from the vendor area and a short walk to the race track. You are also not too far from Olive garden and Uno Pizza and the mall. They have hookups (water, electric) and sometimes they offer BBQs or ice cream socials for the people staying there. We already booked our spot for next year :)
