Hilton Daytona Beach Resort

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location. Gets a little pricey depending on the time of year, but you won’t be sorry if you stay here. Good beer, shopping, movies and the beach are close by.

Not really feeling the Diamond love for almost $ 300 a night. Restaurants disjointed as far as what they offer and staff is either very friendly or very rude. Wifi sketchy, only got good service when I actually paid for it which I plan to have them remove at check out. Lots of potential with this hotel but they miss the mark on basic things.

Not sure if this is just typical of beach hotels, but our room sucked! The resort itself was great. But our room was just awful. We were on the top floor and it sound like someone was jumping on a bed above us. There was constant noise on the roof, not allowing us to sleep. The room was damaged with small holes in the wall. I felt like bugs were going to crawl into the room. Also there was no fridge in the room, no hand soap, no trash can. The parking situation was a huge mess. The resort is located between two stoplights and there isn’t enough room to get more than two cars off the road. So we had to wait in the road for quite some time before we could check in.

Typical Daytona — what was once nice is now a dive. Management is incompetent, rooms are old, facilities worthless. Don’t bother staying here, just drive up the road.

Nice room and view. But no internet u have to pay for it. This is 2016 people. Fucking ridiculous. For all the $$ u pay to stay here it’s a fucking sham!
Oh btw my sister and her whole basketball team have been waiting for their rooms for over 4 hrs past check in. And nothing. 16, 18 yr old girls (with out parents) have no where to go. Not to mention this has been booked for 4 months! $!!
Annnnnd there is no fan the bathroom, no trash can in the room, no internet. When u order a pull out bed for 35 $ a night, it doesnt come with blankets or pillows. And then when u do call the desk and ask for one, some rude young guy knocks on your door and throws a scummy blanket in your face. Save your self the struggle blanket at u.

This is one of the Key resorts that people visit in Daytona Beach. On the beach with plenty of activates all around. The rooms are small but they are used only to sleep. The resort has a nice indoor and out side pool. There are plenty of bars and several places to eat inside as well as many all around the location. The breakfast bar is $ 20 per person, but they also have a menu you may order from at a lower cost. They have holiday meals for about $ 40/​person. There is Valet for $ 20/​night or park yourself across the street for $ 5/​day.

Rooms had a nice view of the beach and sunrise. Rooms are updated and roomy. No fridge though. Would stay here again!

Arrived this past Saturday at 3:30pm and was practically scolded by the rude reservations clerk for thinking my room was ready. Her arrogance was upsetting as I was use to better customer service from Hilton.
She offered me a room with double beds that was ready instead of the room with the King I reserved with no extra compensation. Tired from a long day I accepted it and then began my long trudge to my room.
This Hotel was obviously originally two hotels that were attached when Hilton took over and my room was literally over a block away on the other side. No bell hop was offered to assist with my luggage.
The halls were dingy and the carpeting was faded and needed replacing.
The room was OK, nothing special. There is no fridge and the Ice machine isn’t that convenient.
The Hotel charges all guests a $ 15 resort fee and then charges you $ 21 a day for parking. This isn’t NYC or San Francisco. Making guests pay for parking in Daytona Beach is insulting.
I will avoid staying there the next time business takes me to Daytona Beach

This hotel needs a lot of improvements. Booked a ocean view but Hilton give me the corner view. No refrigerator or complementary water and that’s NO GOOD. Would never come back here again. Disappointed

Well I just checked in to this so called Hilton and am VERY disappointed! I parked across the street and hauled my luggage over to the hotel and then I found out they charged $ 14.00 to park the vehicle yourself. I stay in hotels all over the country and I have stayed in some nice Hiltons but this one is terrible, the room is no different than a crappy Motel 8 or an old La Quinta! Does not feel like a Hilton. No refrigerator or microwave, I called down to ask about a fridge and they brought a crappy old dented up fridge! This is a Hilton? Of course the lobby is nice but that’s not what it’s about! It’s about a comfy clean room! Very Disappointed! WTF!

Took my fiancé here for her birthday as a surprise off of a recommendation of a friend. Called ahead and had scheduled for the room and massage for her, along with reservations at the on site restaurants figured we wouldn’t have to go far with so much right there. The location with the beach is excellent, right in the center of everything. Upon arrival, our first experience was with the Valets who were quite rude and didn’t seem to have a very good system with everyone outside. The front desk although not the friendliest did check us in early which I had called about before coming. We got what they said was a king room with ocean view. It was not a king but a queen, and although we could see the beach we had more of a direct view of the boardwalk as we were directly over that. The hotel had a bad odor in the hallway throughout the room floors which was a bit pungent. I will say the people at the spa here were amazing, they treated my fiancé like a queen. I went to the bar while she was at the spa, and I might as well have been invisible as after 15 minutes of waiting and watching the bartender and servers go by I had finally had enough and spoke up so I could get something to drink. Later on we visited one of the on site restaurants which was ok. For what you are getting here I felt this was very overpriced, sadly for going out with this to surprise her for her birthday it fell short of expectations.

This was a last minute getaway and so glad we chose this beachfront hotel. The hotel itself is amazing and wonderful staff. I was impressed. Special thanks to Eileen at the gift shop that helped us in and out with our boogie board rental. Front desk are kind and efficient. This hotel has a superb restaurant called the Hyde Park. Fancy while not forgetting to have a kids menu for the young ones. My son loved the chicken fingers and French fries. It also had many other dinning options but we only tried this one and also in room service which was fast and delicious. This hotel is next to board walk attractions and Joe’s Crab Shack to name a few. The hotel is in walking distance to 7-​Eleven and & Hog heaven ect. I like that there were life guards on the beach, chair rentals, bike rentals ect. We will be back soon as this was a wonderful hotel.

Can’t speak highly enough of this place. Try to hot wire it, if you can, for a great deal! We’ve stayed here 3 times. Upgrade to beach front and sleep with the A/​C blaring and the slide open. It’s seriously the stuff dreams are made of! We were feeling fancy and upgraded to a suite on our last stay that had a HUGE balcony off the room. Seriously, the balcony was the same size as the room. Everyone we’ve come in contact with is helpful, from the luggage check gentleman to the lady at the front desk who told us she’d call when our room was ready– let me add that she called like 30 minutes later as we were enjoying a piña colada overlooking the beach! This place is great! No need to drive anywhere. So many places within walking distance.

Would not recommend this hotel. Great location with great access to the beach. You can get that anywhere on strip. No free wifi. Customer service really sucks. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. did not get last of 3 rooms until 4:30 despite arrival at 1 o’clock. Front desk clerk very rude. His name is Robert. Actually said «I’m not giving you anything free.» We did not ask for anything for free, we were just voicing our concerns. Also gave us a dig for booking online and not through hotel. Robert was quite obnoxious and rude about it.
Just an update. Pool filled with sand for at least 2 days before it was cleaned and then they cleaned it at 9:00 a.m. Lounge chairs covered in bird feces and little seeds from trees each day. Pool got crowded by mid-​day so we decided to go to the 5^th floor pool. Closed for cleaning! Also, no umbrellas or shade!
And the art work drawn on a misty door heading out to the valet area of male genitalia should not have still been there 5 hours later.

I don’t know when the last name Hilton began to decline rapidly… to mean something other than classy. Perhaps it was the day the entire web was amused, yet not surprised, of One Night in Paris. Just returned from almost losing my sanity (and maybe even breaking my pristine criminal record) at the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort Oceanwalk Village. How to begin describing the Kafkaesque or Dantenean experience? Having left my car in the middle of small traffic congestion at the entrance… I pushed and shoved my luggage uphill as the valet attendants sprinted back and forth among the chaos of tons of kids, grown-​ups and bags herding towards the congested lobby. Yes, because my guardian angel, Azucena, has a great sense of humor, there was a perfect explanation to the pandemonium. The Youth Quest convention was taking place in the hotel. Enough said about that. Picture it however your imagination fancies.
Checked in. Dirty carpets. Candy wrappers on elevator floor. Eight floors later. I, somehow, must have asked without realizing it or ever verbalizing it that I wanted a handicapped ready bathroom. Yes, my angel was giggling fully aware that I am a full bubble bath kind of gal. My mind must be handicapped if I asked for that so… I took a deep breath and figured I could and would go crazy splashing water around (considered buying squirt guns and balloons to be really festive). My mischievous joy ended the moment I took a look at the blow dryer’s bag hanging behind the door. Smeared, in what could have being any reddish body fluid (or fruity gel); it hung there with the audacity of a Dalí painting. Then my full OCD blossomed. The walls could have certainly used some Lysol wipes. The bathroom floors some Bar Tender’s Keeper love. The decorating ruffle of the bed, stained at the corners, some Oxiclean.
I decided to be the bigger person. Had I walked back into the elevator, down eight floors, and into the lobby’s registration; the police might have been called. My Puerto Ricaness (mind you, I can get sassy) was pouring out as sweat. I would have been escorted out. I mean kicked out because «escorted» only happens when walked out of a classy place.
Everything is better with alcohol. Everything more beautiful or less pathetic. Right? WRONG! I wore my chic sarong, a glamorous panama hat, and huge dark sunglasses. Audrey Hepburn was smiling in heaven. After my lungs made it through the chlorine infested hot pools of the spa, I arrived in yet another Dantenean circle: The pool. Let me tell you candidly. I have friends whose backyard pools are bigger than that one. The resort is huge. So I pondered if the administration raffled tickets or one uses the pool according to the rooms’ numbers. One hour the odd numbers, the next hour the even ones. The chairs were decorated with a combination of mildew and pigeon poop. They have not been scrubbed in decades. Pretty much all of them were taken so I sat by the DJ. My guardian angel was watering her undies my now out of malice. Cancun gone wild on me. I looked up to Heaven in resignation and was distracted by the colorful towels hanged to dry on the balconies. Did they too felt like jumping out? Tears were pooling behind my Tom Fords. I lowered my hat.
Because I am very deep down, abysmally down an optimist… I sashayed confidently into the overcrowded pool. No one seemed to understand the concept of personal space. Some girls were twerking to the songs unabashedly. I slowly pushed myself against the wall and rested there. Please, God make me invisible. Not really. I got splashed quite a bit. Decided to salvage my eyes from the water and the spectacle. Turned around to face the lounging chairs and found leftover pineapple rinds and a braided hair extension. What a treat!
Without any dignity left, I walked out of the pool. A guy sitting next to it sang: «Hit the road, Jack! Don’t ya come back, no mo, no mo, no mo, no mo. Hit the road, Jack. Don’t ya come back no mo!» I gave him one of my Mona Lisa smiles. – «Don’t be sad. You lasted fifteen minutes. I have watched over twenty people, in the past hour, last less than you in the pool.» I tried to walk back to my chair with some charm. -«So how was the pool?» asked the Green Eyed Foodie. – «The pool was…» (what was the word I was looking for? Culturally diverse? Age defying? Physically challenging? A game of Survivor: Daytona edition?) I panicked and blanked. -«public, mom. The pool is public» she beamed chuckling behind the pages of her book.

I recommend this resort to anyone.

Beautiful room with view of the ocean. But for what you pay the rest of the experience is lack luster… Staff was nice enough… Valet parking is a mess… Better stock your room with drinks and snacks for over night… Everything closes after 2300 in that area.
The AC was cold and the room was beautiful. The view was worth the money… A more efficient valet service would bump it to ⁴⁄₅ stars. Yes it’s important to come in welcomed and with ease…

We are traveling with our 15 lb dog and booked this hotel because they are pet friendly. However at check in our room is not ready so we went to the pool, however our dog was kicked out so I am sitting here alone and cant do anything. You do not have any thing posted about no pets, and since you are a pet friendly hotel I would expect limitations to be posted or informed when you charge people $ 100 pet fee.

J’ai eu la chance de profiter de ses infrastructures lors d’un congrès durant qq jours et quelles infrastructures! Les salles de réunions sont très confortables et le personnel aux petits soins. Au rdc il y a même de l’eau aromatisée au citron vert et à la menthe à disposition (mais chuuut, je crois que c’est un peu secret!).
La vue sur l’océan est vraiment magnifique. L’hôtel est très agréable (meme si on s’y perd un peu entre les south tower, north room etc!) Il y a tout pour passer un très bon séjour à Daytona, à défaut de Paris!

Buen hotel. Muy comodo pero demasiado antiguo. Muy molesto el tema de las tasas extras al pagar. Me parece molesto tambien que en algunos lugarrs te digan que es con parking incluido y al final tengas que pagar.

Got a very good deal online for this place and enjoyed every second of it even though I got to my room and it was only one bed for four of us they quickly fixed the problem.
This is my fourth time here last three times with work this time with the family and it is awesome they absolutely loved it.

Planed a Spring break family vacation at what I thought was a prime location not too far from home but still a great destination. I had stayed at this property 3 times in the past and had a good stay on the other trips; however on this trip everything went wrong that could. The start was weird we pulled into the north tower and valet parked only to find out you can no longer check in here so we had a hike to the other end of the property. after finding the main desk and waiting in line for about 10 – 15 min., which is unnecessary 6 – 7 check-​in stations and only 2 manned. Lateresa finally opened another station and helped me check-​in, issued 2 keys and we are off to start this Vacation! Our room was on the 7^th floor all the way down a long hall, not a big deal;but neither of the keys work, so back down to get keys that do. after another wait I finally get into the room, the room is nice, clean and the view is amazing! we quickly change and head for the pool, walking into the pool entrance thru the spa area your nose is attacked by the overwhelming noxious fumes of chlorine. figured it was because we were inside and the hot tub was on, bright blue columbia trunks are now a weird shade of light blue, daughters hair and suit both bleached out, and my wife black suit now a charcoal color. Got a few drinks at pool bar and made the best of the crowded pool, to be expected. At about 3 that afternoon 2 females wearing bra’s and shorts arrive smoking marlboro menthols in the pool putting them out on the edge and then kissing and feeling on each other. My 14 year old daughter, or anyone else for that matter, should have to endure two vagrants have a heavy petting session, no matter the orientation or gender. That night we ate at the Hyde park steak house, the highlight of the stay! Great Steak! The room we got had an adjoining room and at about 3:00 we were awaked to the moans and slamming around of what sounded like an orgy! Day 2 we go out for a bit and are back at the pool, today they are checking for room keys and verifying your a guest, good move, maybe avoid the spectacle of yesterday. Went to the bar for a drink and noticed what appeared like a bunch of intoxicated young people (its spring break, Im no prude; but they were found and aggressive. My wife and I are sitting in the pool and notice a room on the 8^th floor open and start spitting on guest at the pool area, These are the same group as at the pool bar, now pouring beer and squirting supersavers of who knows what. I informed the bar tender that they we picking up each other acting like they were gonna throw each other off the balcony. after about 45 min of beer, spitting and a few near misses with throwing someone off they stopped, later security told us they were underage, and were being packed up and they had poured out their alcohol. that night for dinner we chose to go to the sports bar Legends, My daughter was tired so opted to stay in and watch TV and my wife and I had a drink and got take out. Our waitress was slow with service and dismissive when I had brought it to her the attention that the burger I ordered did not come with lettuce and onion, I made a point 2 times that I did not want to wait for this, she assured me it came with it! I also wanted to pay my check now to avoid the food getting to us and having to close out the order, it took 30 min to get beer so I did not want cold food. Well food arrives, no check, and the burger did not have the items I asked for. I go to the Bar, as the waitress is nowhere to be found. I ask for a manager and he says one would be coming, this takes another 10 min., food is getting cold. The waitress comes up to me at the bar and wonders whats wrong, I tell her and she says «oh O. K» not I will get the lettuce, or i apologize. Colleen Dunham meets me at the bars shakes my hand and asked whats wrong, I explain, she asks how she can make it right, I said maybe comp. us our next meal, to which she says she can do that and gets a card from the bartender writes her cell number says give me a call I will comp that meal. well when we call the number on the day of check out to go to breakfast No answer. I left a message and explained who I was and never received a call back. I have her card which is absolutely no good, how could the Hilton chain make Colleen Durham a outlet manager? Our room started out beautiful attention to detain like toilet paper not being replaced day 2 no coffee day, never vacuuming the room. tomato on the condiment plate sat outside our room for 3 days. Crazy stay!
