Love it! Will def go back when in town. Food entertainment and waitress was great! Thanks Caribbean Jacks for A great start to a happy new year. We went on New Year’s Day.

Good if you like fried food– pretty location on the water, but the food quality and indoor environment is not the best.

Totally hit! The restaurant overlooks water so the beach air is perfect. We sat outside in the rocking table/seat combo. Our waitress Jen was great and recommended we not order the s’mores dish as it is, according to her, «disgusting.» We instead ordered a banana dessert dish– it was amazing! We went during the Daytona 500/bike week but it wasn’t crowded.

The service was good. The food was delicious. I ordered the filet medallions and the steak was cooked to perfection. It was served with rice and veggies. My friend got the shrimp Alfredo and was pleasantly surprised. The sauce was very rich and creamy. Overall, a great place to eat. Will be going back again.

What a perfect place for a fun date night! The live music, water-front view, and glider tables on the patio made for a romantic dinner indeed. My husband and I shared the spinach artichoke dip, and it was fantastic(we order spinach artichoke dip wherever we go out to eat, and this one was one of the best we’ve had). I had the fish tacos and they were fantastic! The portion was big enough that I had leftovers for lunch the next day. Service was great, and we didn’t have any wait for our table when we visited around 5:30 pm on a weekday. Definitely sit outside to enjoy the view… there are heaters outside too in case you visit on a chillier day.

Ok… so I went to Caribbean Jack’s because of the Unilocal offer for a free spinach & artichoke dip appetizer. Buuutt this place was awesome! We were in town visiting over Christmas & stumbled upon Jack’s. Nice location right by the water. Do yourself a favor & sit outside and enjoy the view & rocking tables. We had a very friendly & attentive waitress, Megan(from Ft. Lauderdale). She placed our food & drink orders and came back several times to check on us. The food was delish! Portions were big; we took our leftovers back to the hotel. Will definitely come back to Jack’s when we’re in the area again.

This is one of the highest rated placed in Daytona, but I was really not impressed. The free spinach dip you get if you check in is pretty bland to be honest. Lukewarm, bland spinach dip with store bought chips. At least it is free! The menu is mostly seafood, but overpriced in my opinion. We ordered the chicken sandwich, crabbie patties, and gator bites. All were mediocre. The chicken was dry, and the crabbie patties a bit soggy. Ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, and I am not sure what they brought out, but it wasn’t a LIT. It was almost clear colored and tasted of simple syrup. The server was really nice and exchanged it for no charge for a different drink. Great service. Mediocre food.

I thought the 20 minute wait and rave Unilocal reviews would be a sign of good food, but it’s just another coastal tourist trap. We used the Unilocal free appetizer for the highly recommended spinach dip and could tell it was pre-mixed stuff from Sysco or some other mass food provider because I know I’ve tasted that bland flavor before. I had to get the«Krabby Patty»(being a huge Spongebob fan and lover of crab cakes) and found it was flavorless and served on a plain hamburger bun. Not the good kaiser roll type, either, I’m talking white bread plain like a regular McDonalds hamburger bun. My Dad decided to go with the fish special, that day it was blackened redfish, and it was overcooked, underseasoned and just disappointing. Overpriced, annoying with the huge gift shop right over your shoulder, and definitely not an experience we’ll repeat.

Service and food were both amazing! Kim looked after us, and was very attentive, always checking to see if we needed anything else, and always had a smile! Tried gator for the first time, and it was great! Will definitely return next time I come back to Florida!

Great food, good service, fun atmosphere, and classy cocktails. Had a nice setting with pretty murals on the walls with your typical tropical tiki bar kinda setting. I got the margarita followed with a delicious strawberry daiquiri. My girl friend was recommended by our waitress to get Jack’s Ass(something like that) and she loved it! Really strong but great taste not to sweet and masked the amount of alcohol well. My girlfriend and I split the seared ahi and fried shrimp appetizers. Both great. I had the fish of the day which was Chilean Sea Bass and it was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend got the Sweet and Sour Chicken and that was decent and a huge portion as well. The waitress was more then attentive, funny, and kind. She gave personal recommendations on cocktails as well as items on the menu that locals usually get. Was pricey, but worth the experience as well as the quality of the food.

As advertised, the seafood is fresh. I had shrimp, my colleagues had various kinds of fish, and we all enjoyed the food. It was properly prepared and served hot. Nice selection of alcohol, and very good service. Oh yeah, very cool atmosphere.

I liked this place! It was a cool little spot. Kind of reminded me of a Joe’s crab shack vibe. Our waitress was ssoooo nice. She was like a pageant queen or something! She made a terrific recommendation, the mahi. I was pleased! Sooo good. The fish was tender and moist. We used a Unilocal coupon for free spinach dip. The spinach dip was a nice treat before our meal. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5, the drinks. I ordered their special rum drink that comes in a bucket. Yes, a bucket. I’m thinking yesssss this will get me to a happy place. Wrong, it was mostly juice unfortunately. But the next time I come to Daytona, I’ll stop by again. Hopefully I can sit on the patio next time. They had live music out there but it was far too windy the night we went.

Never a bad meal, good atmosphere inside, great atmosphere outside, wonderful service. Prices pretty good for the area. Sat/Sun special is Low Boil with snow crab, crawfish, shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob, baby potatoes. Great stuff for under $ 20. 2 lbs of Snow Crab was great, tasty and tender. Rum drinks are very tasty and sneak up on you. 32 oz, what!

First of all, the tables on the patio overlook the water, are covered, and they SWING! Yes, the entire table swings!!! The table has its own little roof so you are covered from the hot Florida sun. The view from the patio is great– overlooks the marina. The restaurant is kind of tucked back and could easily be mistaken for one of its adjacent buildings that also say«Carribean Jack’s». The service was very friendly and the special that my fiancé got was the«low country boil». I’ll attach a photo. Crab legs, crawfish, potatoes, corn, shrimp, served under a bucket with butter dipping sauce! I got to try some– it was delicious!(Once us Midwesterners figures out how to crack into all of this stuff!) I got the fish tacos, as usual, Carribean style. Server warned me it was«very spicy». People who like things spicy, it was not spicy. It was delicious however! They serve you three huge pieces of nicely cooked fish and you construct your taco. I left there VERY full, and we are considering another visit before we leave. Menu is expansive! If you like alcohol-forward cocktails, DON’T get the margarita– get the rum smuggler! Very neat place on the marina for a very filling meal.

I may have waited too long to leave a decent review. I recall the server being new and not really knowledgeable about the menu or bar. We had a few cocktails if memory serves. My wife had a margarita(s) and I think I had a rum drink. We ordered gator tail and I do recall liking it. I also recall blackened grouper sandwich. Although cooked perfect I guess I wanted it grilled. I recall being disappointed in my order. However, the views are great and I’d give it another try.

I have all good things to say about this restaurant except for their banana foster. This is the second time I have been fooled by reviews on banana foster. i guess banana foster and my palette are just not meant to be. Loved the ambience. Outdoor seating by the sea side with boats docked and live music. It was picture perfect! They graciously honored our free appetizer request via Unilocal checkin. For appetizers, we had the coconut fried shrimp. Which was delicious with the sauce. It wasn’t too oily but just fried right. For entrée, we did the crab cake. I found the crab cake to be cooked really well. It wasn’t too hard or too soft. These guys know how to fry stuff. And for the dessert, I found the banana foster to be too sweet for my tooth. The ice cream was a blessing as it neutralized the sweetness to a significant extent. Bottom line: Good food and great atmosphere!
