ZIG ZAG Gallery is a contemporary American craft gallery specializing in jewelry, pottery, creative clothing & accessories, unique gifts and home accents. In addition we feature Pandora jewelry, Naot shoes, Story People, Curly Girl, Erin Smith and Zents fragrances just to name a few.

History

Established in 2003.

The definition of ZIG ZAG: a course of sharp turns in alternating directions. Owners Kim & Brad are potters with a diverse mix of work experiences. Kim began working for Woodbourne Gallery (est. 1979) in 1990 (becoming a buyer in 1993). When the owners of Woodbourne retired in 2003, Kim and Brad took over the store and the name was changed to ZIG ZAG. We are very proud to be a part of the 30+ year history of bringing «Made in America» to the Dayton area!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Kim’s background is in Interior Design (Art Institute of Philadelphia). Having operated her own design firm in Hamilton, OH (specializing in historic preservation, space planning & adaptive reuse), she relocated to Dayton in 1990. Also a potter, she taught pottery at University of Dayton (10 years), Stivers School for the Arts (7 years), SCC, DAI, & Rosewood. Her husband has claimed she collected part time jobs. :-)

Her involvement with ZIG ZAG actually began as a part time summer job at Woodbourne Gallery (1990), becoming a buyer (1993) and eventually taking over as owner with her husband in 2003.
