History

Established in 2003.

The first modern bail bonds business in the US was established by Tom and Peter P. McDonough in San Francisco in 1898. However, history tells us that the first surety bail bonds were agreed upon in what is today modern Iraq. Citizens were released from jail by having an indemnitor, usually a friend or family member, pay a sum in currency and to pledge the defendant, or accused, will show up to court backed by the indemnitor’s property such as his sheep. Stone carvings place these events at over 4,000 years ago. This practice of having another person take on the Liability of the accused so the accused can set up legal defense and the such is still the basis of our business.

As CEO of Phoenix Bail Bonds I have spent over 15yrs as a Bondsman in the Dayton area as well as many other states. I have personally assisted people and families in need all over Ohio and other states during the Bonding process.

In 2009 I headed the call to country once again (US Navy Vet 87 – 97) and travelled to Iraq and then Afghanistan to work with the CIA in Jalalabad approx. 30 miles from Pakistan.

Now I’ve come back to my home town to do the most rewarding job I’ve ever done, Helping People in a terrible time be able to prepare for their day in court.
