Lee’s Famous Recipe

Many years ago this used to be a small carry-​out store with a drive-​thru window. We used to live very close to there. We would purchase their chicken quite often. They’re chicken was so good I almost could not get enough of it. The original store was eventually torn down which made way for a new and larger store with a dining room.
Somewhere along the line they changed their formula. Now their product is very salty and not near as good as it used to be. When I eat their food it makes my blood pressure go through the roof and it takes 3 to 4 days before it starts to come back down. In addition to that, their food makes me very sick to my stomach and most of the time gives me diarrhea (that’s why I’m glad I have my bottle of Pepto-​Bismol close at hand). As much as I used to like Lee’s chicken, I have long since sworn it off. I have talked to other people who have experienced this as well so I know it’s not just me.
If you can eat the food and not get sick over it and not have your blood pressure go through the roof then I’m happy for you. As for myself, me and them have long since gone our separate ways.

Everytime I see a Lee’s I have to stop! This was my first visit at this location. Fried Chicken 1−5=5. Wedges 1−5=5. Chipotle Ranch 1−5=5.
