We used J&D to manage two properties and fired them after less than one year for the following reasons:
1. Poor communication
2. Poor tenant management
3. Poor maintenance management.
4. Fraudulent maintenance bills.
When we sent them notice that they were being fired, they proceeded to email various threats to us. My advice is to avoid this group. There are much better and more professional property managers in the area.

Could not be more pleased with their property management and services.
Always return calls promptly, within minutes if not an hour or two on the same day.
(Other property managers I have tried may not get back to you for a week, and then only after two or three calls.)
Good work at reasonable prices with timely turnaround.
They hold tenants to task on paying rent on-time and get them out fast when they don’t pay. J&D is nice about it, but they don’t put up with excuses or a song-and-dance routine.
One of Dayton’s best.
