We love El Rancho Grande. It is our favorite. The fajitas, pollo loco, and the salsa is the BEST. We eat here at least three or four times a months. Great food, good prices, and nice atmosphere!

Love the warm crispy noddles and the sauce that come with. After that nothing to write about. I personally don’t like what they served, check out the menu 3times and don’t know what to order at all. But they are pretty busy when we went there. Giving two stars for crispy noodle. By the way, the service is ok, average!

I am in love with all of the El Rancho’s in the region for the standard of food across the board. Are they the absolute best in the area, no… but they do have quality food at affordable prices, friendly staff and a genuine interest in pleasing your little ones. A great place to take a little one for a birthday flan and an enchilada. I know my little one loves the atmosphere.

Three of us went for lunch. I have not been here in a long time. Absolutely the best waiter I have ever had anywhere. He had a sense of humor and took great care of us. My favorite dishes had changed but still very good. I had said going in thqst this location usually has great service and I was not disappointed, in fact I was even more impressed. Well done.

I tried this place based on good reviews from others as I was traveling and don’t know the area. Meal was average. Honestly, the salsa tasted like stewed tomatoes with hot sauce, and the guacamole I ordered had no chunky bits of onion, tomato, or cilantro.(I tend to judge a Mexican restaurant on salsa and guacamole… if they do that right everything else usually falls into place.) The entrée was fine but nothing special… typical chicken enchiladas. The service was good and food came out quickly, so that kept rating at 3 stars.

This place is SOLID! The service was spot on and the food was great! My wife and I will sure make this a stop when ever we come back to Ohio to visit. I had a great lunch date on the 1st of Jan 2014 here.

Chips Chips… Along with Salsa and Queso. I wasn’t in the mood for mexican but this hit the spot pretty well! I had a couple chicken tacos with rice and beans. The beans were anything special, but the rice and tacos were good. The chicken in the taco was well flavored and cooked well. They kept our chips and salsa filled and allowed me to eat too much. Our service was just ok. He was a bit slow, but eventually got the job done.

The food here is better than most in the area. However still not overly impressed. Something about mexican food and Centerville must not mesh very well. Not worth the money you pay for the food. Still on the look out for that clutch mexican restaurant.

i like to try new Mexican places and this is one of the ones that wasn’t the greatest experience. the service was OK, i always had a refill and chips and salsa available. i would say the chips and salsa were an OK6 on a 10 point scale and the salsa is more tomatoey than i like. the food was not my favorite Mexican, the chicken was a little tough instead of being tender and juicy. the flavor to me was more on the bland side, except for the rice. it was pretty point on. it wasn’t cheap either, more pricey than most places and not worth what it was. on my second trip here i had the queso dip which was pretty bland too and the food was still a meh and i was ready to leave. don’t think i will need to hit this joint up on the rest of the trip or when i come back in town

If you’re a seasoned Mexican food veteran who is comfortable ordering carryout orders without a menu, be really careful with El Rancho Grande. The restaurant’s offerings aren’t categorized in usual ways. When I tried to order a burrito suizo, I was given a chorizo burrito. Easy mistake. Other complaints include a bland queso dip and no greens or rice unless you order them. Basically, if you ask for a burrito, you get a burrito and nothing else. The restaurant was very kind, allowing a phone order just 10 minutes before closing. If you choose to eat at the restaurant, it has plenty of seating.

Many of you know my recently developed aversion to Mexican food, partially because of eating it like 3 times per week when I lived in Pilsen, and partially because so many(non-authentic) Mexican restaurants throw fake cheese, ground beef, and a hint of iceberg lettuce on a taco shell and say«voila»! El Rancho Grande was somewhere in the middle of the dichotomy between authentic and fake Mexican food, but whatever it was, it was still tasty. I had 2 chicken tacos and an enchillada, and was satisfied with it. My boyfriend had a vegetarian burrito that he enjoyed. While they offered a part of the menu to vegetarian items, there wasn’t a whole lot of choice.(He didn’t care, because he wanted the burrito regardless, but I’ve been attempting to reduce my meat consumption, and there was just nothing really appealing on the list. Give me some avocado-topped choices, please!) Important note: you must go between 3−6pm Monday-Thursday to take advantage of their happy hour! ½ price off all drinks? Si, gracias! This resulted in my boyfriend and I splitting $ 6 for a small pitcher of Daqueri. In the end, it was a decision that was muy excellente.
