Clash is a consignment shop for local artists. We not only sell local artwork and other handmade goods, but a large selection of vintage and new unique clothing and accessories.
Clash is a really awesome boutique store and art gallery. I’m glad we stopped in here while we were walking around the Oregon district. This place has everything from Clothes(Vintage, and New.), Jewelry, Home Goods and Artwork. Mostly everything here is made locally or by smaller homemakers. There was a lot to look at, and there was a lot I wanted to buy. Really unique and awesome jewelry and clothing options. Lots of unique artwork all over the walls. Everything is of great quality. I bought a pair of awesome sunglasses that haven’t left my face in 42 hours, regardless of it being cloudy and rainy since. I think that the prices are beyond fair. Not everything is expensive, but not everything is cheap either. Just a great variety. The woman who was working there/running the place was super cool. I loved the sweet dog that was walking around the store. It was overall a great visit here and I’ll be coming back soon for sure. If you’re walking around the Oregon district I would make this a priority to stop in and shop around.

Clash is my favorite consignment store… ever! They have a great mix of newer and vintage items. I also love that they showcase local artists. If I need something new and unique I always stop by Clash. Oh, and you can always depend on them to be open when they say they are! No opening late or closing early. I’ve even seen the owner open the store with a scratched cornea… that’s dedication!

Clash is, hands down, the best consignment shop in Dayton. Hell, it’s one of my favorite consignment shops PERIOD, and that includes New York City and Boston. The clothes are fabulous and you won’t have sticker shock and fall over dead as ALMOST happens at many other places in the great US of A. And Clash doesn’t fill their racks with a bunch of unwearable(not that some people won’t try…) polyester jumpsuits or stained scooter dresses or anything of that sort. I am glad Clash doesn’t go with the whole«if you want to look like a COOLUGLY/HOT NERD and drop some serious Benjamins in order to do so» jam, as I truly can’t stand it. What Clash DOES sell is a killer variety of vintage and modern chic items at reasonable prices: clothes, shoes, jewelry, art, and DIY objects galore. The clothes range from SEXXXY to CLASSY; there truly is something for everyone. Not to be excluded is the stellar service and kindness of the shop owner and brilliant buyer, Mary. This person is so nice, helpful, and honest that you can go in here on your lonesome and still get an HONEST opinion on whether or not something fits properly or looks good, and advice on a gift based on how you describe someone. She really goes out of her way to help the customer, and to keep the shop neatly organized so one doesn’t have to blunder around looking for a certain style of period. You want a burlesque top? LOOKWHEREALLTHEBURLESQUETOPSARE. A punk-like dress? GUESSWHATTHEY’RENEXTTO? Hooray for making the long process of digging through awesome vintage items fun instead of maddening, and to a shop that knows good clothes, accessories, and art for real. Clash, I salute you, and hope you stay on 5th Street forever, as you are without a doubt one of its shining stars. I’ll see you later, okay?
