The prices are reasonable. The food is pretty good. It is annoying to wait because there is not a waiting area. The restaurant is too small. They don’t have enough tables for people that don’t want hibachi. If you have a wheelchair(that has to pull up next to the table) forget it. There is no place for you without feeling like your in the way. The service is ok. The restaurant looks clean.

Ok before I start this review I want to say I rarely complain about my food. What I witnessed today though needs to be addressed. While waiting on the rest of my party to arrive I walk up to the sushi bar to order a drink. The guy is watching the television which is fine but what I saw him do isn’t fine. While he was watching the television I witnessed him picking his nose!!! I’m not making this up. I don’t know if that’s the normal for him or if it was just a bad mistake. Anyway I didn’t make an issue about it although I didn’t order sushi, and I love sushi. Really sucks! Don’t know what else to say.

Food was great. Wait time for a table was long but it was Friday night. Got skipped over several times before being waited on. When I complained to the wait staff, they didn’t seem too concerned. Hopefully our waiter got enough of a tip from the 2 girls he spent so much time chatting up, to cover our tip. Because I did not leave one!

The prices are reasonable so that means that on the weekends there is normally a wait. The sushi is great so we will certainly be back again and again. We always order the sashimi boat for two and leave stuffed. Great value!

Food and price are great. Service not so Much. Hostess doesn’t know how to smile. Looking around all of the customers a previous tables have empty drinks and are sucking on ice. People at our grill had the same situation. The cook never once seemed enthusiastic but I guess if you want to be cheap this is the way to go.

Prompt, courteous service. There were seven of us and we were seated in 15 minutes. The chef was able to keep all our orders straight and the food was perfect, nothing over or under done. Prices are very reasonable and we will be back again.

Best price and best hibachi for the price!(It’d be great even if I had to pay more for it.) MUCH better than the comparable Kani House down the street.

My sister and I came here last night and ordered sashimi and two rolls. Cannot remember the name but it’s wrapped in cucumber. We did not realize it wasn’t a normal roll(with rice and seaweed) and when we told our server about the confusion, he told us «that happens a lot». Question is, if it happens a lot, why not point it out to the customers when they are ordering? Customer service needs some work, one server sat at the rolling station looking bored out of her mind and stared at me when I asked where the bathroom was. Then she pointed to it. Nice. Not sure I’ll be back to this location.

We always eat here and always have great food. Today they only had 2 chefs so we were waiting for about 15 minutes. They also have a great show while cooking the food. Osaka is a lot better than the Kani House which is also more expensive. We will be back here as soon as possible!

HORRIBLESERVICE! RUDEMANAGER. The food itself, specifically the sushi, was pretty good. However, the service was slow and the staff and servers were not very friendly at all. The thing that made our outing at this restaurant a terrible experience was due to our misinformed server, and the rude manager. Someone in my party only wanted to order 3 individual pieces of sushi, so the server told her to write a «3» on the sushi card. They brought out 3 entire rows(24 pieces). When we notified the server of the issue, she acted like she never told her to do that and brought over the manager. The manager obviously made it seem like it was our fault and offered no apology for the confusion. His response was«We don’t serve single pieces of sushi». He abruptly took the sushi and told us he would remove it from the tab, which was expected. We honestly felt embarrassed and unappreciated as customers. Unfortunately, it was an all around horrible experience and I will never set foot in this establish again.

Hands down the food vs the cost– 10!!! The prices are the best of any hibachi out there! You can actually go to a delicious family dinner without spending a G every time u think hibachi! They could use some work on service is give it about a 4. The problem is some of the staff is awesome but if u get a newbie… They get overwhelmed! Still it doesn’t take away from the quality & price of the food! U won’t live there hungry!

The sushi here is pretty good and very reasonably priced, however the service here is AWFUL! My girlfriends California roll came out somewhat at a reasonable time, but 30 minutes later after hers was brought out, they finally inform me that they got around to starting my spicy salmon roll. In the mean time, they would not refill my drink, not once. The wait staff and even the manager passed by our table multiple times, saw my empty glass and blatantly ignored it not 1, not 2, but 9 times! And I am stuck here waiting on my bill, 50 minutes after our small meal has been eaten, I fear as though this is where I shall die, as it appears as though I shall be forever waiting on my bill. If it were actually busy and full of people this might be somewhat excusable, but it is next to empty so this is beyond reason.

This is one of our family’s favorite places to eat while in N. GA. The food is great and the price is reasonable. The grill«show» is fairly standard, but we don’t necessarily come for it anyway.

Osaka is delicious! I have sat at the bar, tables, and hibachi style and always receive excellent service and food. The sushi is always good and the hibachi lunch size portions are perfect! I highly recommend Osaka!

We ate here many years ago and decided to try it again. Service was not bad but the food was not great. Nothing seemed to have any seasoning and tasted bland, even the yum yum sauce. A person should not have to add soy sauce to fried rice covered in yum yum sauce to give it flavor. Will not be back again.

Go to Kani house instead. My brother and I went for hibachi, we were one of the fist people at our table so we were seated at the end, my brother asked to sit at the corner so he could see, the lady said no. We had to wait till the table filled before the cook came. The cook must have been new, he messed up his tricks and over cooked the fish and shrimp. Also he served the meal in pieces, a good cook knows his cook times and times the elements so that you get your food together. This guy would serve the shrimp, when you were done with that you had to wait for the veggies and the same story with the fish. He did not say a word the whole time. The food was mediocre and the ginger salad too watery. Some poor couple that arrived shortly after we were seated at the table behind the cook had to just sit there till he finished with us, went to the back to clean up and restock before he went to serve them. Was there no other hibachi cook at the place? Like I said go to kani house instead

Oh yes, the ol’ throw the eggs at the guests at the hibachi grill routine. The show was the classic 15 minutes of entertainment while you watch your food go from raw to cooked and plated, and they do a really good job of it. The food was excellent, the entertainment was classic hibachi, and the service was top notch. I do have to give these folks a kudos for doing the right thing as well. My 6 year old daughter took some food shrapnel to the eye during the show, and they comped her meal. She was basically unharmed, but I really appreciate that kind of exceptional customer service. Let’s do it again! I’m in!
