The «Personal Protection in the Home» course exceeds the State of Michigan training standards that you are required to complete prior to applying for a Concealed Pistol License (CPL). Upon successful completion of this course, you will be provided a certificate of completion that you must submit along with your Concealed Pistol License application.

We believe you must fully understand the responsibility you are assuming before you apply for a Concealed Carry Permit. Our classes are instructed by an NRA Certified Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer. Legal portions of this course will be taught by a Michigan Attorney having extensive experience with firearms and firearms law and after your training, we will continue to be a resource for learning.

History

Established in 2009.

KSA was created to effectively teach the Knowledge, Skills and Attitude necessary to safely use and operate firearms. NRA Certified classes are organized and professional. One of the unique aspects of KSA is that an attorney who understands firearms and laws about firearms teaches the legal portion of the class.

is the owner of KSA Firearms Training Center. Member of Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners, United States Concealed Carry Association, NRA and the International Defensive Pistol Association.

NRA Certified Instructor and NRA Chief Range Safety Officer. Certified in NRA Basic Pistol, Personal Protection in the Home, and Basic Rifle.
