We Specialize in Force-​Free Training and Behavior Solutions for Companion Dogs and Birds. Our Degreed and Certified trainers offer private in-​home pet training that is customized to meet your lifestyle and individual needs.

Companion Dog Services include Basic Obedience, Adoption Counceling, Aggression Testing, Training walks (leash exercises), Crate training, and Problem behaviors such as jumping, nipping, chewing, barking, potty training, and resource guarding,

Companion Bird Services include Step up/​down, Go to scale, Crate training, Flight training, Enrichment counceling, Handfeeding, Weaning, and nutrition counceling along with Problem behaviors such as Biting, Screaming, and Feather destruction.

Other services include Pet Supply and Pet Food delivery in Oakland County, Metro-​Detroit, and surrountding areas.

History

Established in 2005.

Shelli Kizner has experience handling both exotic and domestic pets for over 25 years. Out of her love and respect for animals, she wanted to offer an effective force free training alternative to help keep companion pets in their homes. In response Shelli established ClearMark Clicker Training.

ClearMark Clicker Training has been servicing Oakland County, Metro-​Detroit, and the surrounding area since 2005. Our Success is due to our Hands-​on Experience, Quality Assurance, and Continuing Education.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Shelli Kizner lives in Davisburg with her husband Dan, and 2 dogs Buddy and Clara. She owns ClearMark Clicker Training, has a private aviary, and is a hobby breeder of exotic birds.

Shelli holds a bachelor of science degree from Oakland University and is currently completing her masters in behavior modification at Nova Southeastern University. She holds certifications in animal training through Karen Pryor Academy and animal behavior through CASI. She has also completed many hands-​on animal training workshops with Dr. Susan Friedman of BehaviorWorks, Steve Martin with NEI, and Ken Ramirez with Shedd Aquarium.

She is an active member of several animal professional organizations including APDT, IMATA, ABMA, IAATE, AABP, and AZA.

She stays active in her community by volunteering at the Oakland County Animal Adoption Center and is an animal educator with the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing.
