Dr. Schrader is the best OD in town.
He has been my eye doctor for many years and is first rate.
I recently tried the eye center at the large warehouse store down the road and you really do get what you pay for.
With Dr. Schrader you get a community businessman who is the best at what he does. His glasses are well fit by his staff, or sometimes even by him. He is an expert at fitting difficult contact lenses as well. If anything should find you glasses in disrepair he will help you with manufacturer warranties no problem.
I have watched Dr. Schrader’s practice grow over the years and seen the addition of new equipment and testing and always feel he is a well versed OD who keeps up on new trends and changes in the science.
Dr. Schrader’s staff are fully versed in dealing with your insurance and can help you get the most out of your benefits.

This is my 2^nd time visiting Dr. Schrader’s office for an eye exam.
I had a very positive experience my first time last year. During my 2^nd visit this year, my experience was very positive still. Dr. Schrader knows what he’s doing, very competent, friendly and helps a lot. He is a little technological challenge so he’s slower on the computer but it’s not a big deal. He knows the machines well and knows how to check your health of your eyes and the vision as well.
One thing I do want to say is sometimes the staff there might not be on the same page for everything. One person might tell me this and another person might tell me something else. A little bit of disconnect from here and there. Other than that, I think the location is convenient for me and I would go back!
