History

Established in 1970.

Larry Snyder set up his first harpsichord shop and piano business in a tankhouse outside of Davis in 1970, and has been working on pianos and other stringed keyboard instruments in the area ever since. He currently works and teaches from his studio in Davis.

Business Owner

Larry was graduated in English literature from UC Davis, then traveled to Boston where he studied piano technology with Wm. Garlick and Eddie Coghlan, and harpsichord making with Wm. Dowd. In addition to his piano work, he has accompanied many singers in performances of Lieder and opera, plays baroque flute in a small local ensemble, and teaches piano privately.
