Specialties
We offer a full range of burial and scattering services, including green burials. We also have a well respected display only art gallery in our office with a free open house every second Sunday 1– 4 PM. Our historic grounds, turf labyrinths, and gorgeous arboretum are open for your enjoyment 24 hours a day. Feel free to photograph, paint or sketch our abundant wildlife, walk/jog our eastern acreage, or view the only working swale in Davis on our grounds.
History
Established in 1855.
Our first burial was in 1855. Our oldest buried «citizen» was born in 1796. Many of the movers and shakers of Davisville and the University can be found here. We became a designated wildlife habitat in 2006, Gallery 1855 was established in 2008, and we were designated a Level II Arboretum by the Morton Register in 2012. Ask in the office for our self guided tour booklets.
