I have been here a couple times for oil changes, and everything was ok. Didn’t have any complaints but I certainly didn’t have any compliments either. I went last week for a car wash only and it was a terrible experience. My car came back dirtier than when I left it there. Not to mention they only washed 3 of the 4 rims after I paid extra for it. I probably would have just moved on with my life, but the icing on the cake is that the gentleman running the wash area was super rude to me upon arrival. So, long story short, avoid this place. I could have dealt with the crappy job they did, but being rude to customers is not acceptable. FYI, if management is reading this, it was the American gentleman in the wash area maybe 40 years old. Everyone else I dealt with was pretty polite. Oh, last but not least, I’m pretty sure one of the employees was working off a hangover slumped in a chair in the customer waiting area.

This place has done a poor job time and time again. I won’t be coming back here. Gave him instructions on what I wanted done and they still did a piss poor job. A true waste of $ 40

I have been here once before wasn’t happy with the car wash but it was my first time and I thought ok, let’s give it another try. Plus it’s a lot closer than the other place I go too which is way better (off Flamingo)
I took pretty much everything out of car because I wanted to make sure it got a good cleaning. Well… not so!
I paid for the $ 25 car wash it came to $ 28 and change with taxes. I did not for that price get the car vacuumed as good, the tires did not get armored all, my step into the car did not even get cleaned and it had tons of spots with dirt.
I was really hoping to get a good cleaning this time but not so. Needless to say would def not be coming back to this place.
The staff is… what can I say they r there but they don’t acknowledge you. Sort of a robot place. Go in, get what u need (maybe, I didn’t) and get out.

Ducked in a few times now for an oil change and Emerald Car Wash, which runs about $ 65 including tip.
Good stuff. My thoughts:
* Yoga pants hotties in the lobby, SCORE!
* Close to home
* I dig an oil change and car wash in the same place
* Various knick knacks for sale in the lobby
All told, good experiences. They’ve gotten better each time I’ve visited. It appears they’ve staffed up for the Holidays, too.
Things are moving quickly here, and that’s what important to me.

Usually get good service. The gentleman at front, who appears to be in charge most days I have gone there, is always polite and helpful. The gentlemen at the end of the machine wash always seemed nice. There is one anglo-​American, bald, short, blue eyed employee who stole my quarters out of my change bin/​ashtray. Will never forget him. Saw him get out of my car when the vehicle was placed into machine wash area and his right hand was closed and then went straight into his pocket. I should have trusted my instincts when I saw this, but felt like I should give someone the benefit of the doubt. Got back in my car… all $ 10.00 from new roll of quarters was gone. I obviously cannot prove this but know he is the culprit. Went back and said what happened, but to no avail, however this little shrimp would not make eye contact with me. What a coward. Obviously couldn’t (and wouldn’t want to) strip search or strong arm this individual who makes everyone else working there and doing their job rightly look bad.
$ 10.00 worth of quarters seems a cheap price to sell out on your integrity, Little Dude.
Don’t let this individual in your car, and, if you decide to go, ask for someone else, and watch the little one who fits the description like a hawk.
Otherwise this is a good place to go for quick and very reasonable wash service.

SAVE YOUR $, BETTER PLACES ELSEWHERE
GOOD: Mark (on the front end) is hardworking and honest & the Cashier is friendly. They WERE the reasons I came back. But NO MORE.
BAD: 1) When you pull in, they demand to know what you want, but don’t want to listen unless you robotically rattle off in their «package language.» When you tell them what you want done, they don’t care. They just point at the overload of Signage with the expectation you will absorb by osmosis the overload of info, then compare and contrast in seconds and regurgitate what is written on the signs. No meeting you half way to ensure you get what your car needs.
2) Said «Hi» to back end workers 3 times, and got no response except a dirty look.
3) Asking «can I help with anything» and being told «No!» with attitude then when done, asking «why didn’t you vacuum back of SUV?» was told «you got stuff in the back we ain’t gonna touch!» I told them «but that’s why I asked ‘could I help’?» and the tall, thin, elder, light skinned black male unleashing on me like he just stepped off a street corner in the hood.
4) Vacuumed so hard that they ripped the carpet at the seems. Also, dislodged a cloth/​velcro cover for the back seat mount, and throwing it on top of my bags, only to claim «I don’t know» when I asked «where did this piece come from?»
5) After going through the front end (reception) then going through the automated car wash, then going through the third part entailing a two man team and STILL finding dirt on both outside and inside of car. They used dirty rags to wipe down.
6) Having to go over and point out spots they missed altogether, then dealing with their attitude «that’s your problem.» Apparently each swipe taken of any part of the car is an additional charge.
7) Not even a spritz of deodorizer; car smelled when I left. Didn’t even smell when I brought it.
8) Waaaaay Overpriced. Will nickle and dime you and you’ll still have a dirty car.
What happened to the type of Car Wash where when you entered they greet you professionally, and they smiled at you, gave you time to explain your car’s needs and listened, and they just made it happen within a reasonable price, time frame, and professional attitude? This place is not worth it. Won’t be back. Too many other good places! One in Hallendale. One in Hollywood. One in Plantation.

They do a great job and are very friendly. Quick in and out.
So Unilocal requires me yo write more. So i just want to say that you can also clean your life up as you have your car. If you feel lost, sad or broken in someway. There is hope and peace. The salvation and abundant life can be found with the love and belief in Jesus Christ. Seek him and he will rescue you.

04÷24÷15 got my wife’s van washed. At the entrance, i had to guide the vacuum crew to see where they needed to vacuum. At the exit, i asked the drying crew to open the gas cap and clean it. The employee responded that i should have told the crew in the front to clean that.
At the end of it all, they dryed the windows with dirty towels. You can see the streaks.
Not sure i will go back to this place.

I have been to this car wash many times with varying results. I never get a great car wash. Sometimes I get a decent car wash. Most often I get an acceptable car wash. Why do I go back when the result is often less desirable? Because it is close and convenient.
Yesterday’s visit, however, may have been the last straw. As usual, I was in need of a quick car wash due to an impending ride with my manager. That meant a car wash despite the weather prediction of rain. Well I shouldn’t have bothered. This was one of the worst car washes I have ever seen. I knew it was bad when I had to ask the attendant for his dirty rag so I could wipe my console and finish cleaning the inside. He would not let me take it and gave the inside another cursory wipe, but it did not help much. The vacuum job was terrible. Even the outside did not look that clean. How is that possible?
It’s a shame I can’t find a decent car wash in Davie. I used to go to a another place where they did a veery good car wash until one day my car came out of it infested with bugs! I guess I can be thankful that I left University Car Wash without extra bugs in my car, but it certainly was not clean!

I would go here every once in a while to get my car washed. They never did a good job but it was relatively cheap and fast. You get what you pay for.
Today, I went to get an oil change, tire rotation, and a wash. They charged me $ 19.99 for the tire rotation but didn’t rotate the tires.
I once was told by a mechanic that a lot of places don’t actually rotate your ties and that you should mark one of your tires with whiteout so that you can tell if they did or not. I didn’t need to do that because I have different front and back tires and made a quick note in the parking lot before I handed over my keys. Unfortunately, I was in a rush to leave and didn’t look at my tires before pulling off but come home to find they did not rotate my tires.
It truly is astounding. I will be returning tomorrow to try to get a refund or my tires rotated.
Update: The mechanic said, «it slipped his mind.» They did rotate my tires without too much further fuss.

I wish it were not the case, but unfortunately, I had my Z06 full-​detailed for $ 150 and when I got it home was shocked to see that the front wheels were still dirty with old brake dust and so was the lower sections of the painted body all around. I had to clean the wheels myself and had to wash and wax all the hard to get to places. For $ 150, all day job, you’d think they would have done a better job. And then when I went back a few days later to tell the Manager what happened, he rudely asked «Why You Didn’t Tell Us That Before»?! Then he said «We get very busy on the weekend». I told him it was a Wednesday and it seemed quiet. He finally said OK bring it back, we’ll take care of it. Me thinks not.

I’ve been coming for years. They always do a great job and they are affordable ($ 11 for wash and inside vacuuming and detail). They offer any type of service you could want if your in need of more than juat a quick wash.
I recommend getting here early add they are a popular spot. They aren’t slow but the more folks the longer it is. And I like that the owners are cool. Ive seen them come out every so often to ensure things ate running smoothly, thanking the customers for their business, and having a laugh with the employees once in a while.
This place offers a sitting lounge, vending machines, tv, and magazines to keep you comfy during your wait.

I have been coming here for years, on Tuesday I was very disappointed with the car wash, only 3 guys detailing cars, I had to ask them to dry my rims, then they used a dirty towel to clean my windows. I had a greasy film all over window’s. When I said something to the guy, he gave me a nasty look. Needless to say I went home and cleaned my windows myself. Won’t be going back. I can spend my money at the car wash on nob hill & broward.

Wasn’t too impressed with the wax job I got. I seen dirt still on my bumper and other places on my silverado. They were supposed to wipe down the dash but I still see dust all over my radio.
It was a decent job, but of course I didn’t pay for a decent job I paid good money for a good job which I didn’t get guess I need to shop around still.

It’s plain and simple, THIS PLACE SUCKS !
Bought the Emerald Wash and it was a total waste of money and time.
Shitty job cleaning my rims.
Shitty job on the interior.
Shitty job on drying the car.
Save yourselves people and avoid these hacks.

My car always is always super clean when I have it washed. Everyone is very nice and professional. The woman at the cash register is so cool. She always brings a smile to my face when I come in. She’s so bubbly. I recommend everyone to wash their car here

Fairly quick oil change, $ 31.99 plus $ 4.69 for disposing of filter. Yep that’s what I said. $ 4.69. I looked again on their pricing board to make sure. Smh, never heard of that crap! Unless other places included it in their pricing. **shrug**
Anyhow the oil change included a free car wash which I passed because of the exterior paint (bad paint job a while back). After they were done with the car, I come inside my car to find oil over the steering wheel. So immediately I asked one of staff outside for a wet rag. One of them was nice enough to come and wash it down.
Apparently staff have been begging the owner for towels to wash there hands or at least gloves. Every place I’ve been to you wear gloves at least clean your hand after servicing your car.
I won’t be coming back here. I came hear due to running errands in the area on a Sunday and that I needed an oil change.

My first (and possibly last) visit to this car wash was not good. Even though I paid for the interior of my car to be vacuumed, they didn’t vacuum the trunk area (I have an SUV so this area is in plain sight) and I had to ask them about washing the inside of the doors since that was also supposed to be included in the price. I let them know that I wanted my floor mats washed b/​c some gas had spilled on them and thus, the car smelled like gas. Common sense would be to not only wash and shampoo the mats, but to use some sort of fragrance on the iniside of the car in order to cancel out the gas smell. Did they do this? Nope. The guy that washed my floor mats stated as I was checking out the car,” I didn’t put the floor mats back in b/​c I don’t know where they go.” What? Are you kidding me? So now, my car still smells like gas, the back seat area was not vacuumed and the floor mats are sitting on the middle seats… There are so many car washes in this area that I can’t see myself going back here again.
The other weird thing is that they don’t have any diet sodas in the soda machine. Aren’t diet sodas supposed to be a fixture of what is inside of a vending machine? Get your act together.

After watching the Jiffy-​Lube expose on their shady practices, I am always leery of getting my oil changed. However, I had a pretty good experience at University Car Wash & Lube. The staff were super friendly and efficient. It took about 15 minutes to change the oil and they even checked my tire pressure on request.
This place is a great deal for NSU faculty and Students. They have a special where you can get a basic oil change for $ 20. You can also get a basic car wash for $ 10 with NSU ID.
I have also had my car washed here as well, and it is pretty good considering the price. You are not going to get hand wash quality, but it’s pretty good. I did have to tell them to clean the cup holders twice but other than that they did a pretty decent job.
Another great thing about this location is that it is right across from Tabitha’s Bistro, so you can grab a great meal while you wait for your car.
