Left the store very disappointed yesterday, Chuck my sales person call me today offer a potential solution. will post update once completed.

I came back to this location after not having a good experience on my first visit. The reason I came back is because I received a message from Renee, the owner and she seemed sincere about her business and was happy to hear what went wrong with my visit. She explained how there was a big sale going on the day I visiting (buy 1 get 50% off 2^nd pair), so they were a little overwhelmed. Unbeknownst to Renee, I visited her store again to give it another unbiased attempt. I really wanted to be fit with running shoes and I have a few friends that swear by this place.
This time was a completely different experience. As soon I walked in and was immediately greeted by employee (who later I would learn his name is Ron). He inquired about what I was looking for… which was new running shoes. Well, not just new running shoes, my first pair of running shoes. I am new to running. Ron had me walk barefoot to see how my feet were falling. Then measured my feet, to find out my right foot is bigger. Who knew? And my foot is wide. He was then able to explain the different brands of shoes to me knowing that I was not a runner and unfamiliar with the brands.
Ron spent plenty of time with me trying on a half a dozen pairs, and checking their fit. When I found my to two top pairs I ran with them on treadmill to solidify my choice. Lucky for me the shoe I liked best was the cheaper of the two. Ended up with a nice pair of Brooks Ghost.
This visit to the store was what I was expecting from my first visit. The good news is that I was able to get a great pair of running shoes. The bad news is that I didn’t get to take advantage of the sale the first time I visited. Like the saying goes, «A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.» So my one pair on my feet is better than the two pair I didn’t get on my first visit. Nonetheless, I have already clocked about 8 miles on these shoes and they feel great.

Nice little runners store for fitting right pairs — with Internet and Amazon it’s no brainer that local running stores must offer some value added service — fitting is the critical part of running (and for runners), and runners depot is perfect place for it. I must recommend that you leave kids or anyone that distract you, the process always takes time.
Also this is runners store and not walkers store so keep that in mind as the store did treat the customers differently from our experience in the past.

This review could be really short.
If you’re a runner, this is your place.
If you don’t run, don’t come in because there probably isn’t anything you’re going to want here.
If you’ve never been a runner but want to be one this is a good place to start– you need a good pair of shoes on your feet if you’re going to become a good runner.
On positive note, it’s next door to. Moes so after you get healthy with your running you can get a burrito– win/​win to me. I love places that my willpower.
Large selection of shoes. Good customer service. Anything and everything you may need to get yourself up and running– see what I did there.

¹⁰⁄₃ — I was looking for a nail place to get a pedicure and almost passed the store when I saw 4 tents outside. I need to buy socks for my 10k the next day so I decided to stop in.
Apparently, it was their anniversary and they had 15% OFF the entire store. SCORE!!! Outside they had a tent for Feetures socks. A very friendly, helpful, gentleman came by and explained all about these incredible socks. By the time, he was done, I decided to buy a pair. They had all kinds of cool color combos. I chose purple, my favorite color. At the register, the guy ringing me up told me about the socks and that he had a few pairs. They were $ 15 regular plus I got 15% OFF.
The socks worked great, not I wish I had bought more. I really like this store. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They are always ready to help!
I can’t wait to buy my next pair of running shoes, I will come here for sure. Shoes and more socks of course!

This is a great local shop. If you are looking for the best in town, look no further.
I have lived in multiple states with large running communities, and the local running stores are a big part of those communities. Runners Depot is just like those shops.
They offer fittings in store. They sell all of the gu and chews a distance runner could need. They have the best brands in footwear, from Brooks and Asics to Saucony. They offer clothing and accessories that any runner might drool over.
Beyond the shop though, they are part of the community. They have runs and running clubs that leave from the stores. They do weekend runs. They do organized group runs. They are a part of the Flanigan’s Rib Run. They are involved. In my opinion, you can buy a pair of shoes anywhere, but not many places offer the added benefits like Runners Depot.

Cannot say enough about how great the products and especially the service is here. I was in need of shoes that would be specifically helpful for me after having two recent back surgeries. Tried on several and the HOKA line of shoes was recommended. I immediately fell in love with them. The comfort level is amazing. They’re well made and really good looking. I loved them so much I just bought another pair in a different color. If you want great quality gear with excellent, knowledgeable friendly service. I recommend Runners Depot. Second to none!!!

Great place to buy a pair of kicks! They are solid when it comes to quality of sneaker and customer service. The best part is they are very knowledgeable about feet. So they will look at your feet, ask you questions about what you use the sneaker for, recommend and have you try on a couple of pairs, and then put you on a treadmill to try them on with a camera to show you how you run! Super cool! The only drawback is there are no returns. So if you don’t feel them you have to exchange them. They run about $ 100 and up for a pair. Happy Running!

The staff (two lovely young and entertaining ladies) were very knowledgeable and helpful. I felt like a pro athlete being given different shoes to try on and had a team to discuss how it felt. I have read the comments about this place before coming and decided to make the trip because the negative comments (not to debate their validity) weren’t all common and few didn’t add up when it comes to their return policy. So I said that to say this go and try it out for yourselves because if you are looking for a running shoe going to footlocker and etc isn’t going to cut it. I was in pain because I ran in popular running shoes that wasn’t mean for me.

No returns on electronics.
No returns on shoes or apparel, only exchanges, regardless of if you did not wear the shoe.
Arrogant staff that really don’t know what they’re talking about (a majority of them. A few were semi intelligent)
MSRP prices.
No price matching.
Terrible inventory.
One treadmill in the store that serves no purpose, as they don’t even watch you run (regardless you should test various shoes and determine whether you are a neutral runner and whether your form changes at the later miles)
If I didn’t know better, this store time traveled from the 1990s to present date with their store policy and wretched business practices. No reason to make a single purchase in store, as shoes can take weeks to arrive at the store in the color and size you want and you’ll pay full price. Highly recommend taking five seconds of your day to make whatever purchase you were going to make with an online retailer that has a solid return policy.

The people who work at this store are amazing. Great customer service. They are friendly, knowledgeable and just nice people. The owner Reneé is a nice person who values her customers.

Worst return policy… EVER!!! Will not refund even though item is new, unused and unopened. Plus only 2 weeks for a return. I will never shop at this establishment again. To think… lose a customer over $ 40. Doesn’t seem like good business practice to me. (Weston Location)

If you run this is the place for shoes. They have a great selection for runners. Walkers are not left out, they have a great selection of walking shoes as well. Like the other reviews state, they watch you walk, run and then they start trying shoes on you. If you are a runner they put you on a treadmill and size up your foot. (Haha get it size it up)!
This is the second pair of running shoes I have purchased and I am more than happy. They have a 14 day satisfaction guaranteed program. Meaning if you buy the shoe and don’t like it for what ever reason you bring it back and they give you another shoe. They stand behind their shoes!
There seems to be a lot of knowledgeable associates who are eager to help you. Be prepared the prices are a little high, but i think well worth the shoe. Comfort is worth the few extra dollars you will play for a high quality shoe.

I brought my mother here and they gave us a great assessment. Poor thing was always wearing the wrong size and the wrong type of sneaker. She’s diabetic and could have really done damage to her foot. It’s not common to find a place that has trained staff that will sell you a good running/​walking shoe for your needs rather than what’s «hot».
I came back a month later and got the personal service for myself. I love the products, the style, and I feel more supported when I exercise. I spent the same amount for the sneaker if I had shopped at Foot Locker, except someone looked at my arch, my walk, and asked me what I wanted to do with my shoe (other than wear them).

Check in for $ 10 deal. Excellent service! I first called on the phone looking for a Brooks shoe that I found out has been discontinued. Over the phone, he went over some models I may be interested in. I then stopped in the store and they watched me walk and looked at the bottom of my shoe to see how I wear the shoe.
He brought out a few different pairs for me to try on and three employees watched me walk to see the fit. You get to try the shoes for 14 days (only wearing them inside) and if you are not satisfied you may exchange them for a different pair.
They have many brands on display and are very willing to help you get the right fitting shoe to meet your needs.
There is free parking in the lot attached to the store. If you are in a running club, you get a discount. Also military, police and fire fighters receive a discount. They accept coupons from running wild. I highly recommend this store for stress free shoe shopping!

Great selection and assortment of shoes, products, and the staff is helpful. They have all you need to be a runner and treat everyone pretty nicely from novice to expert. Their prices are a little high but it is a local business and they carry a lot of specific and specialty items.

Following someone’s recommendation I visited Runners Depot in search of a comfortable pair of running shoes. I recommend this place for anyone who needs help finding the right pair of running shoes for them.

You turned away a sick cancer patient who has been a loyal patron of yours for years, after she humbly asked your owner to help her with her charity for kids with cancer. You didn’t have to reduce the poor girl to tears & let her walk away like a piece of garbage!!! Let me tell you something, I will never buy one thing from this store & will make sure the running and OCR community are aware of how you treat runners battling a sickness like CANCER!!! You are rotten to the core & may KARMA come knocking at your door!!! Boycott this store!!! Go to Irun, those owners know how to treat all people no matter how successful they get!!!

Prices are obviously higher than usual, but if you check in through
, you get a $ 10.00 discount on $ 80.00 you spent.
Cool thing about RD is that they assess your walking/​step pattern and suggest the right sneakers for you. They then have you run on one of their treadmills to test the shoe before purchase.
They also sell mostly Nike sports clothing at fairly high prices. You can find anything related to running at this store.

I learned of Runner’s Depot years ago when I purchased my first pair of running shoes from them. That was an easy transaction and I ended up with a pair of long lasting shoes that I was very happy with for years. However, even the best of shoes must eventually meet their demise, and hence I was in need of a new pair.
I’ll first start off by saying what went wrong (and it really has nothing to do with the store). Back in May, I had purchased a pair of Mizuno Wave Precision 11’s and the fit felt ok, but I didn’t really get a chance to try them out on the treadmill. I brought them home and didn’t start running with them until just recently (a few weeks ago) because I just never made it out to run due to being busy. When I did finally take them out, I noticed after short distances my feet would tingle and the shoes felt really tight and uncomfortable. I knew it was a fit problem and that I would have to return the shoes. I was aware of their return policy when I purchased the shoes and understood that they don’t issue refunds. Although this may be poor practice to some, I understand they are a small, privately owned business and this kind of policy is pretty common especially for smaller local stores. I knew I needed to return my shoes but was worried that I’d not get a refund at all being that it had been so long since I purchased them.
I called the store earlier this week and spoke with Kevin who told me to come into the store so they could see what could be done.
I came into the store and was greeted almost immediately by Mike. I explained to Mike what happened and told him that the shoes were basically new (they only have about 7 – 9 miles on them) and he immediately went to see what he could do about the problem. I paid full price for the shoes, which were an older model, but had recently dropped in price. He came back and at first told me that I would be able to get the reduced price on them which I was ok with; However, after further inspection and consulting with the owner Mike said I’d only get 50 dollars back. This discouraged me a bit but I expressed my desire to walk out of the store with a great pair of shoes (plus some more things that I needed as well) and I also had a rather long list of shoes that I wanted to try after some (extensive) research. He told me let’s start pulling shoes and getting fit and then he’ll see what he can do after I had made a decision.
Mike sat with me for at least 2 hours helping me find a shoe that was not only comfortable, but also worked well with my biomechanics. Each shoe I tried I was able to fully test on the treadmill and run at a decent speed to see how the shoe felt. If there was a shoe I disliked, he eliminated it from the group and slowly but surely we narrowed it down to 3 really great shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 16, Saucony Cortana 2, and Saucony Triumph 10’s. I didn’t have that much money to spend and since I thought I was only getting 50.00 credit, I went with the Wave Riders (which I really liked a whole lot) and then proceeded to choose the other things I needed.
At the register, Mike rang me up and ended up not only giving me 75.00 credit toward my purchase, but gave me the socks at a discounted price too!
He attended to me personally throughout my entire shopping experience and was really attentive (and was even quick enough to deal with a register issue and analyzing someones gait whilst I was in the midst of running on the treadmill). I didn’t have to wait for Mike for one second, he was always there to take care of me and he brought box after box of shoes for me to try. He also helped me personally select my running apparel and my socks for me without me even asking. At the end of my experience I was even able to sit and chit-​chat with him and the store owner and we had some laughs. I seriously had a great experience at Runner’s Depot!
Their prices are fair (and pretty average for most retail locations) but what they lack in cheap prices (versus Online retailers) they make up for with attention to detail, great customer service, and personal attention. You can’t buy that kind of service online or at a major chain (like Dick’s or Sports Authority) They really did all they could to help me out and I really appreciate their service and support. They have earned my business!
