2÷12÷16 — Been wanting to come here since it opened but never got the chance. My coworkers and I have started walking the campus during our lunch hour and decided to check it out. It is a pretty large space with a seating area with couches, booths, high tops, low tables and plenty of outdoor seating. It is not an extensive menu which makes it pretty easy to order, it is straight to the point. You get a pager and when they are ready you go up and grab your food. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they looked and the size of the salad you got. My boss and I ordered the Turkey Burgers with Fries. The meat was a little bland but again a lot of food! It is better than the cafeteria food. They have a nice view to the outside from the tables. They have a pretty good selection of beers and at reasonable prices. Pitchers are $ 6-$ 7. Bottles and Drafts between $ 2-$ 4.

Flight Deck is a bar on a college campus(within the campus limits). Don’t expect the world, but it’s a cool place to go to kill some time, and they do have some nice happy hour specials. Coming from a public undergrad where the entire campus had to be labeled«dry», having a bar on a private school campus seems funny to me. One of my favorite things about Flight Deck is coming here to study oddly enough-I like coming to read in the cabanas out back on a nice day when it’s just too nice to sit in the library. There are fans overhead and plugs for laptops if need be and the whole place is wifi equipped, you just might have to turn up the screen brightness if you’re using a laptop. When you come here to have some drinks, you typically order them at the counter where they check IDs and give you a wristband and table marker-then a waitress will bring you food if you ordered any. Often there are happy hour specials, which is when most of the college/grad school crowd is coming to hit this place up anyway, ie. right after class. Pitchers are a few bucks depending on what you’re ordering. Hard to beat that even at some dive bars in the area. A few times we have come here to pregame and gone out after. The food isn’t amazing, but it’s not awful either. Think bar food but a little better. I think the«relaunch» helped a bit. Keep in mind the bar is supplied by Nova Catering, so they have to go underneath that umbrella. But for the most part if you need a little sustenance to soak up a few Blue Moons before you go home, burgers and fries and wing specials are abundant. I won’t be on campus much anymore but I still live nearby-like I said, oddly enough I prefer to come here and read more than come here and drink-don’t steal my secret now that I’ve leaked it: P

This place is gross. I ordered the mac n cheese of the day which was taco mac n cheese and it had blue cheese in it which was super strong. The only good thing they had going were the tater tots, which are now off the menu along with all the salads and other things. Whoever decided on that new menu should be fired.

Mer. I mean it was good. It wasn’t bad. It wasn’t incredible though! I got a BBQ burger of some sort that came out slightly warm, not hot as I would expect for a fresh grilled burger. There was also blue cheese on my burger which I found very overwhelming. I mean I know blue cheese is a strong cheese but maybe the amount on my burger was too much. The fries were regular fries etc etc. I would like to come back though for their drinks! They’re def at college friendly prices and have more than your basics cheapo beers like natty light and PBR lawl
