I have been coming here for awhile now after being referred to Ken from my sister. I have been to many places for nails over the years and by far Ken is the most consistently on top of his game. He is friendly and professional and this is a beautiful family owned establishment. The décor is nice and comfortable. The massage chairs are also really nice. They keep this place immaculate always. I highly recommend anyone here but especially Ken because I use him. My nails and feet look and feel great when I leave. Keep it up guys!!!

Moved down here 2 yrs ago. I’ve been looking for a new salon and I finally found my new home. I absolutely LOVED my experience and will continue to come here and I would recommend Davie nails to everyone. Thank you Jordan for doing such a great job. Your designs are on point!!!

I have been coming here for a few months now and this is the best nail salon in Davie. I am pretty hard on my hands so I have been getting a gel french manicure on my real nails. Look last at least 2 weeks and is timeless.
I am sure everyone else is pretty good but my go-​to-​person is Jimmy!!!

Best Salon! I’ve been going to this place every 2 weeks for several years now. Hands down best nail salon. Large selection of nail colors and gel nail colors. Tia, Jordan, and Ken. all GREAT work. I started pink/​white gel nails recently and love them! They fill up quick so definitely suggest making appointments. Great thing too is that that are open Tuesday — Sunday… you’ll honestly probably be laughing if you sit with Jordan. Great family!

I’ve been to Davie Nails twice. The 1^st time, I went with the older gentleman and I think he did a good job with both my refills and pedi. So I decided to return.
The 2^nd time I went I wanted to take off the gel acrylics, but the tech (guy sitting at first table) was trying to take them off by using a tip of a nail instead of soaking them which was what I expected. He said that I didn’t have an appt and it was going to take too long. I told him that I prefer to soak instead of peeling them off because it would mess up my own nail. Since he seemed to not want to do it I just told him to fix it. At the end of it, I loved the shape and well painted nails (always issues with other salons in the area). The older gentleman did my pedi & again did a great job.
He tried to make small talk 15 – 20 mins after he started with my refills. Other techs seemed to engage with their clients the 2 times there, but seem to be existing clients. It’s a small salon with only 5 techs but salon is clean and updated. Will go again. Next time I decide to take off my nails I’ll try to remember to make an appt.

Came here while visiting my brother who goes to Nova Southeastern University, which is right down the street. Very clean salon and friendly staff. Tuyet did my nails and they look amazing. She was fast and very nice. Great prices and nail polish selection as well. Will come back again next time I’m in town!

I came in, and this place is small but beautiful and relaxing. Loved it, I also think it has been the best pedicure I’ve had. Prices are reasonable, I wanted to get a design but the lady wasn’t there. I will definitely be back.

I wanted to see what all the hype was about Elaine so I scheduled an appointment with her for Sunday ⁷⁄₁₉. I thought she was doing a good job at the beginning since I know a little about nails myself, we were chatting for a little and got distracted and I noticed afterwards that she didn’t take that long to get my nails done and that she hadn’t filed my nails on top and they were too thick for my taste, by the time a realized this, they were already closed on Sunday when I called. Called back on Monday (⁷⁄₂₀) but no one answer the phone, apparently they like taking really long lunches. I had to go back to work so I didn’t keep calling that day anymore. I called back again today (⁷⁄₂₁), and I am pretty sure Elaine answered the phone. She basically told me that the time to go back and fix my nails had passed, and that if I should’ve called the same day (which I did, they were closed already), and so she was going to charge me to fix the nails I was NOT happy with. I have NEVER EVER encountered a nail tech who refused to fix the nails of a NEW client because she wasn’t happy, especially when she charged me $ 45! PLUS I also gave her tip!!. If you look at her Instagram nail pics compared to mine, it doesn’t even look like the same person did them. ALL she had to do was filed them down, I don’t know what the big deal was. Needless to say, I will never go back there again!

They do a really great job on designs, you can show them any picture and they can duplicate it perfectly. That’s hard to find in a nail salon and also what’s hard to find is nice staff– they are really nice here and don’t seem to talk about you (at least while you’re in their presence.
I don’t think I’ll become a regular here and that is due to the pricing– it’s very high for a mani-​pedi, even with gel and a design… this is more of a special occasion place if you want some fancy design for a holiday.
Also, I had an appointment and they ended up making me wait 25 minutes anyway.
Not my favorite place but if they lowered pricing and honored appointments, I would like them much more.

This place is heaven! It’s always been hit or miss with nail salons but not here, so consistent and does an amazing job! Everyone there does a great job but Kenny is my favorite. Everyone should try them you will be in love also! Also, love the salon so updated and clean, try it!

Very annoyed. I was looking for a new place as I just moved to the area. Unilocal said great things about davie nails. Walk ins welcome! I walked in and was told it was busy and they could take me in 10 – 15 mins. I told him I’d go get a slice of pizza. Went next door and had a call from my job. So I was gone almost a half hour. I walked back in and the first words were «I can’t take you now. (With a smirk like I’m an idiot) I told you to be back in 10 mins» Wow. He said nothing else and I turned around and left. I wish I could take the one star away.

Out of all the nail places I been too this is definitely the best. I went in for acrylic fills and the guy did an amazing job. Great shape and very natural looking. I was out within 30 minutes as a walk in and they are open till 7:30 which is great. Will definitely go back

This is my first time coming here. I’ve been to two other well-​rated nail salons in the area, and overall I feel pretty neutral about my experience. I didn’t feel sincerely welcomed… Customer service was ok.
I made an appointment for a Sunday afternoon, just in case. I only waited 5 min. then had my feet soak for about 15 min before my pedi started… The water was lukewarm by that time though.
I wasn’t offered anything to drink, but when I asked for water I was given a mini bottle.
There was a woman there who made it known that she is a regular. She was quite a talker… And a loud one at that. She seemed nice enough, but I like to relax peacefully when I get my nails done, and it was pretty hard to tune her out as she sat next to me getting her pedi, conversing loudly with a woman 15 feet away getting her mani. When that conversation ended, she called someone on her cell and gabbed some more. Jeez.
Thennnn the woman who came and sat next to me on the other side brought in fast food. Which I did not enjoy smelling.
Obviously these women are not necessarily a typical factor of the experience, but some salons don’t allow food or talking on your cell, and it makes a difference.
Lastly… I didn’t enjoy the lite radio and commercials. :/​
Idk. It’s definitely reasonably priced at $ 20 for a standard pedi with Essie and OPI, and my toes look good… but I think I’d rather spend an extra $ 5 – 10 for atmosphere.

After starting to come here 2 months ago, I have since not been back to my normal mani/​pedi place that’s down the street from my house. Davie Nails is about a 20-​minute drive from my house, but well worth it! The staff are friendly, the place is clean, it has nice décor, and the owner and employees are Asians. But they’re the Asians that actually understand and speak very clear English, so they do exactly what you ask them to do. I’ve had Ken here each time that I’ve been here, and he is a perfectionist. He really takes his time and pays attention to small details and he always remembers how I like my nails shaped. Since switching to only getting gel manicures, I wanted to try somewhere new because my usual salon doesn’t have a big selection of gel colors at all, and this place has a huge selection. Not to mention, this place cares about your safety. Every nail salon that I’ve been to doesn’t protect your skin when you have to put your hand in the UV lamp. This place has gloves that you wear with the ends of the fingers cut off for your nails to protect your skin when you’re getting a gel manicure. I also love their nail files. They use the smooth ones that don’t feel rough but still work well. Every other place uses the rough ones and I hate the feel of those. My manicures now last at least 3 weeks or longer without chipping, thanks to Ken! I will be coming here for as long as they’re in business.

Great location if you want to be treated like you’re business is not appreciated.
First visit– after finishing w/​his client the guy in first chair placed my nails in water and I waited 10 mins while he watched tv. I eventually took my nails out of water bc my cuticles were as soggy as Fruity Pebbles left in milk too long. The girl who wears long ponytail finally came over and chastised me for taking my hands out although My hands were prunes.
The whole while she did my nails she frowned, took deep breaths and complained about the quality of my nail polish– Essie and Julep. Her demeanor was so standoffish that I asked her if she was okay. Also, she never placed my hands next to fan after the coats– didn’t seem like she cared. I was surprised that she did an excellent paint job however.
When all was done and said, I thanked her because she did a lovely job, and gave her tip. She responded by sweeping the money into her drawer without a thank you. In fact she didn’t even bother to look up afterwards.
Second visit– I decided to give this place another try, after all, it’s nearby and the paint job was great last time. Unfortunately I was greeted w/​blank stares when I came in and was told that wait was 20 mins although guy was not busy. He was just walking around doing everything but my mani or pedi. I waited 10 mins bc maybe he had an appointment, but after my first visit, and the way I was ignored this time, I cut my losses and left.
Overall– Poor customer service! And for someone who loves their nails as much as I do, they lost who could of been a loyal customer. Save yourself the trip and money!

This is my fave nail place ever! It’s family owned and operated and they are awesome! Everyone speaks perfect English so I’m always entertained with great convo when I’m getting my nails done. Love them! Only thing… I recommend calling ahead to book an appointment. They are always busy!

Love, love, love this place. I found it While searching on Unilocal.The staff is very friendly and they do an amazing job. While they take walk ins they rely on appointments and will take customers with appointments first (as it should be). Prices are on par with every other nail salon around but their service is way better. If you don’t like something they fix it, no questions asked.
It’s a smaller shop with four stations but it’s perfect and the atmosphere is wonderful. I would recommend any of the techs that work there! I have definitely found a permanent nail salon!

Awesome quiet environment! I was very relaxed once my gel manicure and pedicure was complete. Not a typical corner salon with loud staff and language barriers. Everyone spoke complete English not even a hint of accent. Customer service was great.
I had Elaine and my mom had her husband Ken who are both awesome. Great personalities and cute couple!!!
