American Moving and Storage

I wish I could put no stars. BEWARE!!!
WORST COMPANY!!! The person I spoke with told me a certain price when I made the arrangements. When the guys showed, they were several hours late and I was on a time crunch. I told them due to being late things were further rushed. The guy told me due to the number of boxes it would be higher.
There was no way I could contact the office and he was calling it in. Then told me I couldn’t pay on my card that I needed cash. I knew something was off but due to the issues on time, I needed my stuff out then.
Finally leave, they arrived late at my new place due to seemingly stopping off for refreshments and snacks.
They broke my new bedroom set and tried to tape it up and put it against the wall so I couldn’t see it right away.
After they left I contacted the company and I was told that the original price was all I should have paid and the additional the movers had claimed was their tip. They had not only broken my furniture and claim process against them was worthless, but stolen additional money and fraud me further.
Worst ever.

Bad, bad company who referred me to Unique Van Lines for my cross country move. WORST MISTAKE EVER!!! The salesperson would not return my calls when I was trying to call them with my concerns for Unique Van Lines. They did not put that I was on the third floor and cost me more money with Unique. Not a good experience. I’m thinking of suing them.

this is the worst moving company in the history of moving companies. they were late on their pick up which was not on my contract. aside from that kept giving me the different excuses. first they said that they said they we’re running late, than the truck broke down, then they just started ignoring me after i gave them my $ 400.00 deposit. do not use this company. their lack of professionalism is disgusting!!!

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER! BEWARE!!! Everything this company tells you is a lie. They will warn you about other moving companies and what to watch out for, meanwhile they are guilty of everything they warn you against. They didn’t show up on the correct day, they sent a budget truck and a random moving crew even though they said it would be an 18 wheeler that they owned, all of the terms were different, they tried to charge for everything even though I had my own supplies, tape, bubbles etc. I had no idea where my furniture was being stored and ultimately found out it was in an entirely different city than I was told, they yet another moving company contacted me for delivery! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
