Turtle Creek Nursery

We drove up here from the Highland Creek area — just 20 minutes up Odell School Rd — after our Bradford Pear got wiped out from the storms in 2010. They had a type of Bradford Pear that doesn’t split as easily; this was the only place in the area that carried this cultivator.
Turtle Creek Nursery is huge! Bring comfortable walking shoes and maybe some water in the summer; you’ll need both walking through the premises to see as much as possible. Awesome selection of trees and shrubs; everything was healthy and looked great. Don’t want to have the same plants as the rest of the neighborhood who shops at Lowes? This is one place that you can find the stuff to differentiate your landscape.
The salesperson that help us out was very knowledgeable; he talked us out of the other Bradford saying it still had the same issues as the old ones. We walked out of there with a Maple and three other shrubs. Long story short everything we bought is thriving beautifully. When I need new shrubs and what not for my yard I’ll be back.
