History

Established in 2011.

After several owners over 20+ years, the original Plaid Rabbit was shuttered for several years. It was the go-​to spot for invitations, gifts, and holiday cards, and it was sorely missed. So I decided to resurrect it in 2011, opening across the street from the old location. In 2013, the shop moved to the current location, which offers more space and better parking. The Plaid Rabbit remains true to the original vision, but with a fresh take and fun new lines.

After staying home with our daughters for a few years, I decided to resurrect this Village of East Davenport icon. Owning a retail business lets me combine skills culled from banking, training, and parenting. And because our family lives nearby, we love being involved in the Village on this level.
