Our company goal is to provide excellent service, on time and on budget, through honesty and a team approach.

Established in 1990.

In addition to farming, he worked as a laborer in the construction industry and read many books about carpentry. In 1987, Jerry started «Coussens Construction.» He incorporated and changed the business name to J. D Coussens, Inc. in 1990.

Business Owner

Jerry was born in 1956 in Davenport, Iowa. He was raised on a family farm in New Liberty, Iowa with ten brothers and sisters. He graduated from Bennett High School and attended Iowa State University in the field of farm operation. In 1979, he married Julie Cummings also of Davenport. They have four children; Seth, Gabe, Tyson and Ella.
