They need to clean the cages up better. One of the dogs went doo doo in his cage. I told a volunteer about it, she said she was just gong over there. Who know how long it was in his cage. Dont think they walk the dogs that much because if they did they wouldn’t be going to the bathroom in their cages. This is the first time I’ve ever seen this happen at a Quad City Humane Society. I’ve been to the Rock Island & Milan one several times & I’ve never seen an animal go to the bathroom in their cage or feces left in there. Also, some of the animals looked kind of sick there. With Iowa being more funded than Illinois is, you would think they would be able to find a bigger & cleaner place for those animals. I feel sorry for them.
