Description

Specialties

The Life Solution Center of Darien is a collaborative community providing education, prevention, and multi-disciplinary answers to life’s problems. Its mission is to help people through life’s transitions by providing a network of professionals under one roof who are specially trained to address the whole person in multiple facets of his or her life.

History

Established in 2008.

In 30 years of practice as a psychotherapist, executive coach, and corporate consultant, Maud Purcell recognized that therapy wasn’t happening in the office alone. Many of her patients required services in addition to psychotherapy.

While Maud had ready access to professionals in law, general medicine, financial services, home organizing, career/college counseling, etc., she found patients lacked the time, motivation, or emotional resources to make additional appointments, and their treatment was hindered by the fact that they couldn’t access these other services.

She formed The Life Solution Center of Darien to provide a more direct and accessible route to these services – to benefit both the clientele needing them and the professionals providing them – by including a variety of services to help people through life’s transitions within a readily available network of providers, all under one roof.
