I decided to come here because of location to my home. I should have read the reviews on Unilocal before I decided to go there. Where to begin. I called to set up my appointment on a Friday afternoon, They said that there was availability on Saturday morning. Perfect. Until they had to reschedule my appointment 3 times. I was told that the«tech» was going to be at another location until later in the morning, Once, or twice maybe. So I am on the way to my appointment and apparently the patient at the other location was late so my appointment had to be cancelled until Sunday afternoon. When I arrived, I should have just turned around and walked out. The waiting room was disorganized and so was the«changing» room. When I arrived to my appointment, there were no lights on in the clinic and the male«tech» was the only other person in the place. What clinic or medical facility would think its ok to have a woman alone with a male employee? Although I didn’t feel unsafe, it’s totally inappropriate. When I initially called to set up the appointment, I wanted to find out the approximate out of pocket cost, since I have a high deductible. They gave me an approximate amount then asked if I would prefer to pay out of pocket about $ 400. I said no, because my husband’s employer pays for part of the deductible for us, but I wanted to get a ball park figure. That was all that was discussed before my appointment . When I arrive to my appointment and the«tech» asks me how I am going to make my $ 200 payment. I asked what he was talking about. He said that I had to pay something toward my deductible. He asked if I was going to pay by credit card or check. I told him that I wasn’t prepared to pay anything. He said that the office and I discussed this payment. I told him no that we hadn’t. So we agreed, after contacting the«owner» that we could make it $ 100. But he did not know how to process my credit card, so he had to scan my card and get a receipt later. In this time of identity theft, scanning my credit card? Really?!? When I threatened to leave over the payment issue, he said, «I came in just for you.» So it was now apparently my fault that they cancelled my appointment and rescheduled it on Sunday, and he had to come in. On Tuesday, I stopped by to pick up my report and my CD for my ortho appointment. When I went in to get it, they handed it me without asking for an ID — totally violating my HIPAA Privacy rights. Anyone off the street could have gotten my medical information. And to top it off, my report was printed on the back of a Roofing company advertisement that was crossed out with a pen. Purely unprofessional. The«final cherry on the top» of my experience was the report stated there was no fracture or abnormality found in the MRI. Well, my orthopedic located a fracture and I am currently in my lovely air cast for 5 more weeks. There were indications on two separate areas of the MRI. Please do not waste your time, energy or risk of identify theft by coming to this facility
