History

Established in 2014.

Lara is an east bay area native and has been in the insurance industry since 2009 where she started in commercial insurance with a primary focus of life insurance and estate planning for clients. Lara and her husband Nathan are now owners of two State Farm locations; Lara Mahlik State Farm in Moraga and Nathan Mahlik State Farm in Danville.

My close friend’s mother just suddenly passed, and it brought up the question of life insurance. I’ve never thought I needed it, but this served as a reality check.
I had already had a really easy experience insuring my car with State Farm, so I went to Lara. Not only did she provide me with very clear information, but she was also very understanding and fragile with my concerns. It felt like I was talking to a friend. She made sure I understood all my different options and helped me select the plan which worked best for me and my family.
I would certainly recommend Lara to anyone.

We have always had success with State Farm and working with Lara was no different when my husband and I were looking for life insurance. She is extremely knowledgeable about the different products and was able to clearly explain the nuances of the varying plans. She was thorough in her discussion with us to make sure we were getting the insurance that best fit our needs and that we understood exactly what that type of insurance was (let’s face it, insurance can be confusing sometimes!). Not only was I impressed with Lara’s professionalism and knowledge, she had excellent customer service and made it extremely easy to work with; even coming to my house twice to go over quotes and get signatures.

I am newly married and just moved to the area. I found myself in the situation of needing homeowners insurance. I went in to meet with Lara and walked out feeling educated in what State Farm and Lara’s agency really have to offer. She helped me roll over my 401k with my change of job and set up mortgage life insurance for my new purchase.
I had no idea that State Farm was so heavily involved in financial planning/​services. This office is great and is very knowledgeable in all insurance and financial services.

I found myself in a emergency and needed a quote for an auto insurance policy quick. Did some research and found this new agency located in Moraga and I’m glad I did. Everyone was professional, knowledgable and understanding of the urgency I needed. Not only did I get a quote within a couple of minutes but I’m always now covered by State Farm and couldn’t be happier. I recommend this to anyone and everyone who’s looking for a professional team to get them started on any insurance need.
