In town on business. Warm delicious cookies upon checkin (I was starving, as the airlline did not serve a meal). Clean room (I am especially particular about bathrooms) with plenty of room to unpack, relax, and get some work done without feeling cramped. Plenty of room in the bathroom to lay out toiletries without knocking them over or getting them wet while using the sink (this is a big one for me and many hotels fail big on this). Right down to the mints left in my room, I will stay here again.

I had my $ 150 chi hair straightener stolen from my room while I was at a work meeting. When I complained to management they said they would «call if it turned up» which it obviously won’t because someone on their staff took it. They were no help and made no attempt whatsoever to right the situation. I will not be staying at this hotel in the future and if you have to I recommend locking up your valuables or keeping them on you at all times. The hotel staff will take no responsibility for stolen property.

First and foremost, they had delicious, warm cinnamon buns as part of their free breakfast and you will always win me over with CBs. Additionally, our bed is super comfy, our room is super clean /​modern, and our shower is the bomb. Seriously, I’m going to take like 10 showers over the course of my 2-​night stay here.

They missed cleaning our room, stayed two nights. They allowed construction men to stand at entrance getting drunk, smoking, using vulgar language. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

The staff here was absolutely amazing. We were in town for a gymnastics meet and the hotel was booked. But the place was clean and anything we needed they were ready to provide. We liked fruit being kept out in the eating area to grab even in the evenings. Popcorn for the kids was awesome! They let us change the lobby tv to watch with friends. The room was clean and had a great view of the river. The housemaids provided anything I needed and they literally were still working the following day until after dinner b/​c they had been booked. Still a smile on their faces. If we go back to Danville we would stay here again. Great stay!

I like this place. It’s pretty clean and updated. The staff here is nice and friendly. And the free breakfast is a bonus and it’s not too shabby. They also bake cookies or pop popcorn every evening, so you have a nice treat in the evening.
The hotel is right next to the Riverwalk Trail. And they provide free bike rentals for guest if you want to use a bike on the trail.

In town to visit family. The HIE is like the other HIEs in this country. Tidy rooms, breakfast, etc. I’m a Platinum member so I received snacks at checkin and a late checkout. The front desk lady, the breakfast lady, and the housekeeping crew were accommodating and very pleasant. It’s nice to be around people who take pride in their work. Will stay here again.
