Disaster! Ordered a card for my wedding anniversary in good time. 3 weeks after the anniversary it hadn’t arrived! An apologetic sales person said they’d ensure it was sent! I told them not to bother — it was after all 3 weeks after the special event! It eventually arrived a few days after that — so about 4 weeks after the anniversary. No other correspondence. No refund offered. If they think that’s acceptable service I don’t and would never use them again and would caution other customers not wanting to feel embarassed having been let down on a special occasion!

I loved my cards. I bought 22 different ones. I was especially pleased at how quickly I received them. I’ve ordered custom cards from other companies and have worried that they wouldn’t come in time.

This company performed as advertised. Their selection of cards is large. Personalization is possible and easy. The company Mailed my card on Saturday which at least one of their competitors would not. That is a great benefit. I would recommend this company for ease of selecting personalizing and sending a card.

Their cards are printed on high quality paper and the graphics and wording are top quality. They also have super fast shipping too.

Nice job on a card I had sent to a childhood friend whom I missed dearly and it was a lovely success. I got everything done at once and no worries about having to mail something. It meant a lot to me.

Greeting Card Universe (GCU) is a great company to order unique greeting cards from. The quality of the card stock and the envelopes is above average. The accuracy of personalization and their customer service is always top notch. CAUTION: Recently they have offered in store pick up at Target stores. HORRIBLE quality on printing, card stock and envelopes. ‘Would think that GCU would not want to be associated with this way of doing business. Just sending a regular card from their company is an advertisement to the person receiving the card. When someone receives the poor quality from the in store pick up cards, it’s not the same.
If you want the best product PLEASE order on line directly from GCU. We will only do this in the future!!! Still love GCU.

Huge selection of every kind of card imaginable. You can either take the cards with the message that is already in them, or you can completely redesign the inside of the card with a customized message. They also do photo cards, announcements and invitations.
I loved being able to design my own, personalized greetings, and being able to have your name printed in the signature line is a major time saver when you are sending out a large number of cards during a busy holiday season.
The shipping is fast and an order can either be picked up at your nearest Target store, or it can be shipped right to your home. I chose my home because there is no Target close to where I live.
THE PROBLEM IS QUALITY. This is a good and time saving way to send out personalized greetings, but I was disappointed in the quality of the cards that I received. Not enough to send them back, but they were very expensive compared to pre-​boxed cards you get from the store, and I kind of expected more for the money I spent. The card stock was cheap and the graphics were low grade. This is the biggest reason that I probably won’t order from Greeting Card Universe again. Price-​wise, they were less expensive than the special order cards you can get at office supply stores, but the quality isn’t even in the same ball park. My Greeting Card Universe Christmas cards cost me more than $ 50.00 for only 25 cards! That is HUGE compared to the cards I can get at the local store for only $ 10.00 — $ 20.00 per box of 25! And believe me, the ordinary, pre-​printed cards at the grocery store were far more beautiful than GCU cards. I paid for the personalization and not for quality.
Greeting Card Universe is a great source for cards that need to say something special or specific, and it can be a time saver for bulk cards because you don’t have to sign your name 25. 50 or 100 times. But don’t expect great quality. The final product isn’t bad, but it is mediocre — and for the price I expected more. Next time, I’ll just go to the local store and buy a box of pretty cards for a fraction of the price. It doesn’t take THAT long to sign my name, and if I want a customized greeting, there are plenty of blank cards on the market that allow me to write anything I want to say.
