Established in 1985.
My introduction to real estate was not glamorous. I cleaned, hauled and did roof work on rentals as a teenager. After college, I bought a fixer upper, and after a year of fix up, sold it and bought two more.
For the next ten years, I bought, fixed up and sold homes, eventually doing new construction and small subdivisions. I also worked as a Realtor for Fox & Carskadon.
In 1995 I founded Fox Real Estate, a unique real estate brokerage that offered multiple levels of service. Customers could choose between traditional service, reduced rate plans or flat-fee consulting.
In 1996 I created a real estate web site that gave home sellers the ability to input their property information online. It would expedite the process of listing their home on the Realtor MLS.
I did several home sales without meeting my client. The Associated Press caught wind of it and gave me credit for doing the first online real estate transactions.
Today, I represent property sellers and buyers in the Tri Valley.

I grew up in Palo Alto and Atherton, attended Encinal Middle School and Bellarmine College Prep (High School) in San Jose. I graduated from St. Mary’s College in 1983 with a degree in Business and Communications.
Since the mid 1980’s, I have been buying and selling my own real estate in San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, along with a small amount in Hawaii.
I have represented clients on their purchases and sales since the late 1980’s. My area of expertise is the four county section surrounding the Bay Area. I have also handled property sales as far south as Los Angeles County and as far North as Sacramento County.
At one point I was the broker of 4 real estate offices in Northern California, with over 60 agents. I preferred working with clients versus managing agents, so I scaled back the company.
Today, my wife Therese, handles most of the day to day management of our company agents. This allows me to work full time with new and past clients.
