Concept in Design specializes in new construction and remodel. We use Vectorworks which is a state-​of-​the-​art CAD program to communicate our ideas proficiently to all trades involved in your project.

We also offer color consultation, Hunter Douglas window treatments, custom home furnishings, custom casegood design and much more.

History

Established in 1996.

After completing my degree in Architectural Interior Design in Chicago, I went to work for a small Chicago area firm. We offered both residential and commercial design.

I began my own business a couple of years later while concentrating on learning AutoCad to add to my design services. After moving to the Bay area several years ago, I worked with a local draftsman where I became proficient in the use of Vectorworks, a state– of-​the-​art Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) program.

It is essential when dealing with the various trades involved in new and remodel construction that you speak a common language in order to produce quality results for the end user — the customer. My ability to draft using Vectorworks provides that language that enables me to produce those quality results.
