History

Established in 2013.

Started in 2013 with a desire to make an exfoliant for my son who had eczema and tree nut allergies. Most scrubs on the market contain lots of chemicals and synthetic fragrances and dyes which only irritated his condition more. I started experimenting with different ingredients and recipes being cautious to avoid known allergens. I started giving them away to family and friends, teachers, etc. All of whom encouraged me to continue what I was doing and move on to the next level. It was then I decided to expand my product line with more types of sugar scrubs. Which then expanded to include bath bombs/​shower steamers and outdoor body spray. More good things are in the works and as always will be Natural, chemical free and sans tree nut allergens.

Business Owner

Rhonda is a wife and mother of 2 boys living in Danvers, MA. She has been manufacturing packaging and labeling natural skin care products herself since early 2012. She was inspired to start the business when her eldest son whom had eczema was also found to have allergies to tree nuts. Many products on the market have chemicals and synthetic dyes and fragrances all of which were having a reaction to his skin. Thus the beginning of Sugar Me Sweet Natural Skin Care.
