Worst hair cut of my life. After requesting a trim my medium length hair was cut short. Very uneven layers one side more than an inch longer than the other. It will be six months before this bad cut will grow out. First time in my life to cry about my hair. Lesson learned — never have hair cut in a mall setting.

The salon is clean and atmosphere is fun. Lauren does an amazing job. She is thorough and takes the time to listen to the customers needs. She is very creative. She always always offers great suggestions. Her cuts are amazing. I always get complements on my hair. They offer so many great products and always have great deals. I would highly recommend!

Wonderful experience! Jackie was GREAT! My cut and color are fabulous. The stylists are so friendly and warm, and the complimentary coffee was a nice surprise. I have found my stylist and foresee being a loyal client!

Got my first cut in Massachusetts here today. The staff is very friendly, offered me a complimentary coffee and talked me through the entire cut. One thing I noticed that sets this salon apart from ones I had been to in Colorado was that the stylist seemed to enjoy the challenge of the more unique, short hairstyle I wanted instead of constantly asking me «are you sure you want to go that short?» I really appreciated that. I’m not sure if it’s the area of the country or the salon or what but this salon is very professional and the stylists are talented. I’ll be back! :)

I’ve been searching for a new stylist /colorist for months for my ombré — I had been going to a pricey«salon and spa» and they did a great job… Until they didn’t(and didn’t care). So I tried a couple more salons but the colorists just were not all that great. So I turned to(where else?) Unilocal… And thanks to some very well written reviews(plus photos!!) I found Mary at L&L. I’d walked by that salon a hundred times and always just kind of thought«eh, another mall salon» Boy, was I wrong! Don’t let the humble appearance fool you — Lords & Lady’s at Liberty Tree Mall is full of fun, friendly, talented people and Mary is simply amazing! She is a master stylist on par(maybe better) than any salon on Newbury Street, only way more down to earth. She raised my ombré and switched me from purple to pink and it came out great! Even my blow dry looks fantastic. I’m adding a photo :)

I go here for foil highlights and cuts, and special event dos. My stylist is Jenna Brown. She is simply one of the best out there. Consistently a great job every time! She is also great a recommending products for hair. Front desk reception always polite & friendly.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by Mary for almost 3 years now. I’ve always had issues with hairdressers cutting my hair too short or the highlights/lowlights coming out in different colors than expected. I finally was recommended by a friend to visit Mary and now I walk out of the salon happy and confident every time! She pays attention to what I’m looking for, offers suggestions and always has a smile on her face. She works various hours during the week, too, which is extremely convenient for those working a 9 – 5!

I came in today because I had no choice it’s a holiday and they are close by and have good reviews. But I hate my hair I just wanted nice straight hair how I always get my hair done. I have a thick head o hair but it’s easy to manage. I’m so upset how ugly it is. I don’t mind spending money into my hair. But it’s not even worth it. If you have thick hair like mines don’t recommend it.

Yesterday, I found my colorist forever and it was Mary! I had a horrible experience earlier in the day at a spa. Went to get my hair dyed, but booked an entire spa day. When it came time to do my hair, the hairdresser quoted over $ 350 after I had explained what I wanted done in person when I made the appointment and got a quote of $ 85. I stormed out upset and not knowing what to do or where to go. Stopped off at another beauty salon to get another quote and was told $ 165 as a favorable price. Looked on Unilocal and saw Mary’s awesome reviews and photos(especially the ombres) and stumbled in here. Luckily, she was the next available and the recommended colorist. They stayed pretty close to that price, but Mary did in ONE session what everybody else wanted to do in 3 processes!!! I’ve never in my life been my natural color and was very nervous about getting it and the ombré done right! Mary did an amazing job! She did exactly what I wanted, listened to my every concern, and kept me calm! She was fast, coloring my hair with 4 colors at once and left my hair in wonderful condition! Much better than it would have been with someone else in 3 processes! She went the extra mile, curling it after she blow-dried it. For once a hairdresser didn’t make me feel like I was an alien or I had to apologize for having very long hair! She was the first person I let trim my hair in 8 years! I will be back again and again to see her! So lucky I found her!!!

I travel about an hour just so I can come in and get my hair done by Mary. Currently I’ve been opting for an all-over red with chunk blond highlights. I had been told by previous hair stylists that this look wasn’t obtainable. Mary made it happen. She does excellent work. Although the salon is located in a mall it’s still a very relaxing environment. All the stylists and staff are very pleasant.

Mary is the BEST. I’ve been going to her for several years and I pretty much let her suggest to me what she thinks I should do… I’ve never been disappointed. I love our conversations and the relaxing atmosphere of the salon… go here, you won’t be disappointed.

The stylist that cut my little girls bangs was very friendly. However, she completely messed up her bangs. It’s as if she tried to put layers in her bangs. It came out with noticeable gaps and very thin areas.

They can’t cut men’s hair. Guys, DON’T go there.

So, I went to an expensive over-priced salon and hated the way my hair came out. The color wasn’t how I wanted it, and it was just… bad. So i decided to try Lord’s and Lady’s because they had a Sunday AM opening at 11am, which was like the ONLY time I had that day. My stylist was Kate and she was amazing. I told her what I was unhappy about and after she took a second to look at my hair, she gave me her game plan, and it sounded right! I was there for about 1 hour and 45 minutes(which is better than the 3 hours it took at the first salon) and was ½ the price. Oh! and it came out absolutely amazing and I loved it!!! The only downside is they don’t accept tips on credit cards, so I had to run to an atm and get cash, but other than that, i was super impressed!

I go here when I need a cut or color for a specific reason or when I feel like getting a more pampered haircut. I love this place and this location. The staff is extremely friendly and listen to exactly how you want it then also offer suggestions as they work with your specific hair style. The salon is cute and clean, and semi-private. I always book in advance because they do tend to fill up fast especially on the weekends. This is my go to when I want to try something new and fresh with my hair and always come out with more than I imagined. The downfall is that it’s at the mall so like I said they fill up quick and it’s best to book in advance or be prepared to wait.
