If you are thinking of buying from a box store (Lowes, BestBuy, Sears) think again. Douglass has very competitive pricing, is there when you need them (our dryer died after 18 years right before Christmas) and we had a new dryer delivered and installed the next day.

This is first rate appliance dealer. I purchased a refrigerator from another «big box» competitor and needed some assistance on switching the door direction and an ice bin that didn’t come with my appliance. Not only did they show me how to switch my door direction, they gave me an ice bin! Business don’t do these kind of things that often but when they do I like to spread the word. I have already planned to order my range, dishwasher and microwave from them. Their personal neighborhood touch is worth me driving past the other places!

These guys are the best! Their service call pricing is affordable. They fixed not only my dryer which had a small lint fire, but the ice maker as well– All within an hour! Do yourself a favor– call them! I’ve used them many times over the years-​never disappointed. They truly are what old school service is all about. I can’t say enough good things about them!

AMAZINGLY HONEST!
Truth be told I haven’t been there. But that isn’t for lack of trying. I called them up when we had a problem with our dryer. The very nice older woman on the phone told me what she thought it was and how to fix it myself. She asked if I wanted to see if that fixed the problem before I scheduled the appointment. She, of course, was correct and I didn’t need a serviceman to come down.
So to recap basically they told me how to fix a basic problem opposed to using their service (which I would have to pay for). Saved me time and money. I will 100% use them next time and recommend them to anyone who asks for an appliance servicer.

Douglass Appliance Repair Service was outstanding. Our Jenn-​Air fridge stopped working after a power outage. They came the next day to figure out what was broken. They had to order the part unfortunately so we were without a fridge. Luckily, the part only took a week and as soon as they received it, they came back to repair the fridge. Very friendly, fast, and efficent service. Will use again.

These Folks have always been the best. My parents used them in the 60’s and 70’s and I watched thier pleasant, efficient service for the 80’s and 90’s in a few different companies that I worked for.
Now, they do all my service. As they should.
They are incredibly fast, always all before they arrive, and are always on time.
They have also gone far beyond thier call when I’ve had problems with a machine, and I felt they have really gone to bat for me. I appreciate that in a company but wouldn’t expect any less from these folks.
Seriously think about that before you stroll in to best buy or Home Depot and buy a washing machine or a Dryer. Who are you going to call when it breaks?
I’ll go family run and family service any day.
