I came to this salon a few weeks ago in search of a hair stylist who would take on a conquest denied by most. I had bright red hair and I wanted to go platinum blonde. Most stylists shut me down at the thought of the project, all but Jeffrey at Carl Michael.
Jeffrey took on the project with open arms. He scheduled me readily and always compromised to make an appointment at a time convenient for ME.
I cannot say enough great things about this salon. The positive energy and welcoming personalities of the stylists is incomparable to any other salon I’ve been to.
Jeffrey did an incredible job on my hair. He was patient, reassuring, and amazing to work with. I was lucky to be a guest of Jeffrey and Salon Carl Michael. I would recommend this salon to anyone! I have referred multiple friends from all over the north shore!

Laura H is the only person I trust for my color.
I came to her after having been to several other inferior places that used more permanent any methods than I asked for, resulting in like bands of different colors in my hair at the crown.
Anyway, Laura expertly matched the ends and covered my weird bands of different colored roots and made them totally invisible!
Plus she added cool ombré/​balayge blond streaks to the ends that look really modern but not crazy edgy.
She just has a really good sense of color and placement of highlights, plus she is a total sweetheart.
